Female cyclists fined for peeing at the side of the road...

I've been watching the women's Tour de France, and I was disgusted to hear that three cyclists were fined for peeing at the side of the road. There were no stops organised during that stage to allow cyclists to urinate, even though the stage was 5 hours long. While occasionally male cyclists are fined, it's much rarer, because the women have to pull down their whole outfit. Honestly it just screams discrimination to me.

A quilt I made back in 2014...

I made this EPP Friendship Star quilt and finished it back in 2014. Every star is made with a different fabric.

How long does it take for your address to get pulled?

So I'm new to postcrossing and I am just trying to understand how the system works.

I sent my first five cards at the beginning of July. Two were received on the 15th and the 17th. I received one, and it was marked as sent on the 15th, my address was pulled straight away. But the second one I received was marked as sent on the 24th so that means my address was pulled a week after a slot was available. Is that normal?

So I saw a postcrossing post randomly in my feed, and decided to join. These are my first outgoing postcards...

Mildly infuriating....

People complaining about the answer to a minute cryptic because they don't know the word... (a regular occurrence in the YouTube comments).

Why not celebrate that you are improving your vocabulary?

Grandmother's garden in progress

I've recently come back to this hand stitch project which I had left aside for years. I'm loving it this time round.

I made this quilt for my baby daughter back in 2020. I hand appliquéd the hearts and machine quilted it on my domestic machine.
