I have recently fallen in love with solving cryptic crossword clues, thanks to Minute Cryptic. I wanted to attempt setting my own clues, and decided to pair that desire with my childhood love of Pokemon. I have so far compiled a list of 50 clues, some much better than others, whose answers are Pokemon from Generations 1-3. In the list, you can see how I have progressed as a setter, since these are posted in the order that they were made (I promise that things get better the further down you scroll).

I wanted to share these clues for entertainment, as well as for critical feedback. I know that there are some clues that are incorrectly or loosely set, so please call me out on them. Beware: there are a few clues that use "unconventional" techniques, such as including the punctuation in the wordplay. Cheers!
