u/Classic-Power-333: Thank you so much for being my lone piece of happy mail today with your World Postcard Day 2026 postcard; I am happy to add yours to the few sent to me in celebration by generous members of the community. Please expect a World Postcard Day themed postcard from me in return.
Happy to have not repeated stamps for my latest Stamp Math!
u/rare_cranberry_7861 x5 - Thank you so much for your postcards from this past summer! My sincere apologies for the delay in thanking you; please expect a postcard from me in return.
First, I loved your Hello! postcard of beautiful sea creatures!
Second, the Petty Family Squabble by Glen Baxter postcard was quite the unexpected sight!
Third, I enjoyed your postcard of the Bakhtiyari-Lor Saddle Bag.
Fourth, my favorite from this past summer was your postcard of a rotary telephone alongside breakfast!
Last but not least, thank you for your postcard of the Rubell Family Collection!
Challenged myself to use only a single stamp per sheet!
u/jasisjas - Thank you so much for your beautiful Keeper of the Plains postcard! Aaron Santry’s photo during sunset is absolutely incredible. I loved reading about its history from you, especially the Native American side, and I am compelled to hopefully in the future see it in person surrounded by flames at the base of the rock. Please expect happy mail from me in return.
I wanted to start featuring stamps from the Letter Writing sheet!
Today’s Stamp Math theme happened to be Disney IP!
First time my recipient is receiving a used stamp collage of mine; I was hoping to use more space, will do so next time!
u/jasisjas - Thank you so much for your Railroad postcard! It was a beautiful surprise. I loved your postcard stamp as I have never seen it before. I always adore reading about your family trips. I would love to read more about the music store and printing press! The last time I used a printing press was at Shakespeare’s Globe in London. Happiest of Birthdays to your Grandma! May I send a Birthday Card for you to share with her? No problem at all if it would be too weird for a perfect stranger to send a Birthday Card.
u/gooblegobbleable - Thank you so much for your Louisiana food postcard! Is it homemade? I love that you talk about what you’re going to eat while you’re eating! I really wanted to make it back down there this year after a decade-plus away but scheduling conflicts as always. I absolutely want to try a random corner store Shrimp Po-Boy! I just looked up a muffaletta and although I cannot have my brother would be game. I am on travel this weekend but I will be writing back to you as soon as I can!
u/iusiurandum - Thank you for The Reading Woman postcard! I have never visited the Museum of Fine Arts; how did you like it? Thank you so much for sharing how The Perks Of Being A Wallflower made you feel everything so drastically; I tell some people that it is the only book to ever make me cry. I have read it twice and hope to re-read it a third time. I enjoyed the movie very much too and own it on DVD!
u/sommeil_sombre, u/tigerlady13, u/morticia_devine, u/steph_peregrine, u/ninajyang, u/rare_cranberry_7861 - Thank you all very much for the amazing Ocean Shores Washington postcard; the octopus mosaic from a Lantern Press original poster reminded me for my favorite Netflix series of all-time The OA. I absolutely loved the Stamp Math having just started the practice myself; my favorite individual stamp was William Faulkner. Finally I was so happy to read about your tasty lunch!
u/Onelovelygurl05 - Thank you so much for your Henri Matisse painting postcard and for the exchange! He is a favorite artist of mine but not for this work. Did my stamps make it to you and have you re-watched Beauty and the Beast?! I absolutely loved your Stamp Math and stickers. I would love to do another exchange if you ever see any other stamps from me that you would like.
u/cidavid x 3 - Your latest happy mail left me absolutely stunned. I loved all three (3) of your postcards that you got from an auction but I especially loved Lady Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge. I have such fond memories of walking across the Brooklyn Bridge and I never tire of seeing Lady Liberty in the distance. Thank you so much for including plastic sleeves for all of them; that was such a sweet gesture; I will be keeping all three (3).
Thank you as well for your incredible Stamp Math. It has provided me inspiration to step up because mine pails in comparison. I loved the Lady Liberty stamp; honorable mentions go to the UN (great nod to NYC) and squirrel.
Lastly, thank you so much for your wonderful letter on your amazing stationery. I really need to purchase appropriate stationery soon. I will be traveling this weekend; however I fully intend to send you happy mail in return.
You are one-of-a-kind!
u/sharp-ee: Thank you so much for your Flying Ford postcard! No need for you to be deeply envious because I know you will absolutely visit the Studios sooner than later; it truly was magical and awesome in every sense of the words. I hope to visit again with family.
u/LemonLolipopW - Thank you for your Cadet Chapel postcard! I enjoyed reading your hypothetical album titles as well as the genres! I particularly enjoyed the titles “Celestial” and “Wings born of Ash”. I also made a playlist of all of your music recommendations; I can already tell they will be very unique to my usual listens. I always enjoy hearing Tokyo Drift in Citi Field for New York Mets baseball player Kodai Senga although lately it has been replaced by Michael Jackson’s Beat It (no complaints!).
My usual mix of The Wizard of Oz, Disney and small denominations!
I wanted to send the recipient a used stamp collage featuring animals! Thankfully I had just enough; I also might have taken a few liberties. 😅
u/rare_cranberry_7861: Thank you for your postcard and truly lovely messages; please expect a card from me in return.
u/murdocniccalshasT1D - Thank you so much for your one-of-a-kind postcad with your new stamper! Seeing yours inspires me to consider my own eventually. I also appreciated your sticker, washi and Bruce Lee stamp!
