I posted in here not too long ago that I had decided to collect Finest for anything before 2011 and omnibus 2011 and after. I had a thought though, take Grell’s Green Arrow, what if I buy the first couple and then they don’t finish the whole run…

Has anyone else had this thought? I really love the Finest and I think I will just be gambling on the fact that they will finish out most of these large runs they started.

hi all, new comic collector here and i think i have settled on a plan. i think i will lean away from omnibuses before 2011 and strictly collect DC Finest for those years pre new 52, and after 2011, i will be more willing to buy some omnibuses of characters that i believe i will enjoy along with keeping up with ongoing series in TPBs.

is this a good way to go about starting a collection? Finest seem so nice due to the great chronological order and how they include more than one writer unlike most omnibuses do.
