I was starting to get scared that Prodigy was getting cheap and wouldn't hire the same people who did the Back to School update trailers from previous years, but looks like we're getting another banger of a trailer this year!!!

Finally Prodigy is giving us new info

10 new pets between August and September (9 from pet of the week and one from starlight)

Prodigy just dropped an official announcement on major summer/back to school updates! Here it is:

We've got some exciting updates to share about what's coming to Prodigy this summer.

⭐ Starlight Festival is returning!

Get ready to explore a magical nighttime adventure filled with new rewards, quests, and limited-time surprises. Whether you're returning to the festival or experiencing it for the first time, we can't wait for you to jump in.

But that's not all...

⚔️ The final chapter of Hard Mode is almost here.

For those of you who've been battling your way through Hard Mode in the Math RPG, the journey is reaching an epic showdown. You'll face the Puppet Master in the final battle soon!

This has been one of our biggest development priorities, and we're incredibly excited for everyone to experience how the hard mode ends.

Because we've been focused on delivering these major updates, there won't be a Summer Fest in 2026.

We know some of you were hoping to see it return, and we appreciate your understanding as we focused our efforts on bringing you Starlight Festival alongside the epic conclusion to Hard Mode.

We can't wait to see you under the stars and in the final battle against the Puppet Master

Update on the merge to level up update

On the Prodigy Wiki, ProdigyEd dropped an official announcement. Here it is

Hey all - as many of you have called out, a recent update led to us charging some players too much Magicoin for pet merging. This was caused by a bug, which resulted in players being charged older and much higher amounts than intended.

We’re sorry this happened, and we’re refunding Magicoin automatically to any players who were overcharged. This should start showing-up in your accounts today.

We made this change to give players the ability to get their pets past level 20 without having to evolve them, providing more flexibility around levelling-up pets.

However, we should have done a better job rolling this out. So we’re fixing the bug, refunding Magicoin to any players who were overcharged, and also looking at how we can make this much simpler and easier to understand.

Bad news about the "new" game

We got a lot more description...and it's just Arcadia (yep that's what it's gonna be called from now on)

Here's their description in their YouTube: 2 more days left for our new name for Game Island and our new game starring a familiar face....

So we've go the Arcadia name and a Puppet Master themed game mode...😭

Of course it's just Game Island
