Anyone use the flex cut carving jack 2.0

Anyone use the flex cut carving jack 2.0

Hit a small milestone in life and wanted to celebrate with a new tool for spoon carving. Carrying around an assortment of knives can be a bit much sometimes. We plan to start going to local markets soon and I often whittle at work when the opportunity arises I’d love feedback on this particular knife vs the spoon jack by flex cut! Thanks everyone! Hope all of your spoons turn out better than you thought they would!

Doing a custom shower for my mom and want to do something unique. One of the features will be a bench made out of the counter top material. We are going to do a waterfall style so the top of the bench will be mounted to the wall and one “leg” on the other side connected with a mitre joint.

Waiting on my favorite rep to wake up now so I can bounce some ideas back and forth with him, he is a walking book of knowledge (Joseph mattice if you guys are lucky enough to know him)

But my main concern is what would be the best way to secure the granite to the wall? I can think of a couple different approaches but I want it to be seamless and 100% waterproof. If I cannot think of the perfect way I can always mount a solid piece of the stone to the wall and use it as a leg on that side as well. It would certainly hold but it wouldn’t be quite the finish look I want!

Inspiration pics attached they are not my work or I wouldn’t be here asking questions 😂😂

Hey all! I use a lot of basswood and completely whittle most of my spoons, I have tried a few pieces of hardwood species and I am wondering if you guys bust out power tools to “carve” them or if your still using standard whittling knives and a ton of patience! Cherry does okay but cannot for the life of me carve most other species! Post pics of your spoons! Here is an unfinished one I was working on while camping. I have finished it but have not oiled it! Made it a left handed thing eater for my son

I have a couple that come close but none that strike me quite as much as this. We used cedar 6x6 to Frame the shower, ditra heat floors, we even built the cabinetry and painted. Thanks for taking a look!
