Denied AWA / Medical Accommodation – Next steps, and will follow-up questions also be rejected? AWA / Telework / RTO
Hi everyone,
I am looking for some insight and advice on next steps regarding a medical note from my doc was denied today. For context, I submitted a formal request supported by a doctor's note outlining my functional limitations and the medical recommendation for full-time work-from-home I cannot sit or stand for long hours. I have received the forms that my manager wants my doc to fill out this submit to the disability account manager. While I am planning to give the questions form to my doc. I’m feeling a bit stuck and defeated, and I have two main questions :
Will subsequent questions/clarifications from doc would just be denied too? If I have my doctor provide more details or answer further questions to clarify the limitations, is management likely to look at it objectively, or does a formal denial mean the door is essentially closed on this specific submission? I am still waiting for the AWA rejection... As I have lost all hopes for getting it approved. I am a mom with two kids and one kids that has a genetic skin condition.
