Unable to create Optimum ID - apparently no one can

So, I have read these posts about people unable to create a Optimum ID, and repeatedly getting an error message saying, "You can only create an Optimum ID from your home network". So, I tried through both my mobile and laptop while connected to the Optimum Wi-Fi network (no VPNs, nothing). I have been trying to do this for a month now, tried to get live agent but apparently you need to have an Optimum ID to chat with an agent (classic chicken egg problem).

I once got a hold of one of the agents on a call, he said he is looking into it and asked me to hold the call. I did and didn't get response for like 20 minutes. I cut the call (obviously, I have work to do) and didn't get any call back or an email response.

TBH, Optimum you are a big company, and you see people have been having these issues for years now. Why not do something about it? I'm pretty sure if a payment is delayed, you will send emails, contact via phone and all that non-sense first thing in the morning. Why not show this level of proactiveness when customers actually need basic help?

Note: I won't pay any late charges etc. if I'm unable to see my bills and make payments due to your negligence. I'm going to send this same text via email and whatever subreddits I see. I'm just going to spam your inbox. ;)
