Ive heard that removing teeth causes recession, but does IPR(filing down inbetween teeth) have the same effect? This originally put me of braces a few months ago because I thought it would decrease palate space in the same way teeth extraction does, aswell as this i was wondering if rubber bands cause retraction. For context I have mild crowing on bottom teeth, and would need around 1 to 2mm IPR, and have an overbite of 7mm according the the orthodontist. Would this pull my jawline back even a millimeter? Any awnsers would be appreciated thanks.
