Looking for D&D players in Middle GA (Cordele/Warner Robins/Macon area) to roll dice and make friends!

Hey y'all! My name is Scott, I’m 20, and my girlfriend and I live in Cordele. We’re looking to build a local crew of awesome people around our age to hang out with, make friends, and play some in-person D&D.

I’ve been DMing for about 4 years now (two successful campaigns, one glorious disaster of a partial campaign, and tons of one-shots). The catch? I’ve only ever DMed online. We’re actually planning to build an epic custom digital gaming table soon, but until then, I’ll be essentially relearning how to run games in person. I'd love to find some cool folks to share that learning curve with!

Our Plan: I want to set up a casual Discord server for our group. Instead of forcing everyone into a strict weekly commitment right away, I’ll post D&D one-shots whenever I want to run something, and whoever is free can grab a seat!

Whether you're a seasoned veteran or have never touched a d20 in your life, you are absolutely welcome. If you're down for some games, laughs, and hanging out, drop a comment or shoot me a DM!

Things to Do this Week in Middle Georgia (7/13-7/16)

THINGS TO DO: This week, summer campers will be learning through art and science, Amy Ray Band performs at Capricorn Sound Studios and Museum, and Storytellers Macon brings another evening of intimate storytelling in historic Grant's Lounge (Tu. 6:30 p.m.). Read about all the events taking place in Macon and all over Middle Georgia this week on MiddleGATimes.com.

WEATHER: The weather should start a bit cooler than last, with high temps in the 80s through Wednesday. Rain and thunderstorms are expected throughout the week, and high temps in the 90s return by Thursday (Weather Forecast 6/13-6/19).

P.S. I appreciate Middle Georgia Times' readers and the great feedback I have gotten when meeting some of you out on adventures. I don't like to ask for anything if I can help it, but everything is more expensive these days, especially with a young child at home. Any donations, no matter how small, would help me better spotlight the positive in Middle Georgia. Journalism is a tough way to pay the never-ending bills: donations and feedback are always greatly appreciated!
