I can’t believe it still. I’m becoming completely numb but it’s now the first month I haven’t heard from my spouse since we’ve been together. What heartbreak this has to be.

My wife surprise messaged me that she wants to divorce. It’s been about 3 years since her last major episode. Cutting contact and separating from me has happened in the past many times and it usually resolves itself within a week or so. It’s only been a day, but now we’re married. I’m wondering if anyone has any experience with this situation and what to do? She has experienced some intense religious psychosis as well, leading her down some strange and obscure paths in what she believes reality to be. I can tell she may have been holding a lot of struggles in secret and wasn’t telling me how she was doing.

I don’t know where she is obviously, and I haven’t heard anything from her since her text that she wants a divorce and that her lawyer will be in touch. I think the trigger of this was financial troubles, just having a tough time saving for the long term. There was a feeling of being a “loser” for not having more money.

I’m sick to my stomach, not eating or sleeping. Any advice helps. In the past she would come down from her episodes but I just feel so terrible now. Idk for sure but I think she signed another lease as well.
