AIO by refusing to accept that me and my dad share a birthday?
My birthday is on Nov 2nd , and growing up my dads birthday has always been August 11 like for the first 16+ years of my life, this dudes birthday was August 11, that’s what it says on all his documents. Well a couple of years ago he claims he found his baptism paperwork from when he was a baby and it listed his birthday as November 2nd
Every since then he no longer celebrates August 11 and instead wants to Hijack my birthday, like what are the odds that of all the dates he chooses my birthday,
Now that “our” birthday is coming up, he’s gonna be 50 or he’s already 50 idk and since it’s a big one everyone’s asking me to participate in his party on my birthday and I’m like bruh that’s not his birthday
Like sharing a birthday with him isn’t the end of the world sure but like I think it’s sus and everyone aka my siblings think im being rude by refusing to celebrate him on Nov 2nd. Im the only one who still celebrates him in August
Mind you both of his parents are still alive, they live in another country but are very much still alive and he’s in contact with them so I’m like if the baptism date is right why’d they let you have the wrong birthday for 40+ years
