I’m incredibly excited to share that after grinding through the mandatory 14-day closed testing period (and 3 days of waiting on the production approval review), my app has officially cleared the Google Play Console review and is now live in production!
I wanted to hop on here and say a massive thank you to the testers from this community who helped me clear the mandatory requirments of google closed beta (and to app hive devs who brought us together to help manage google's shift of responsibilities onto indies), and provided solid feedback, I couldn't have passed this hurdle without this network.
For those curious, the app is called Orint. It’s a clean, privacy-focused minimalist habit tracker and journal built to run entirely offline with local-first architecture.

For anyone currently stuck in the closed testing track or trying to maintain their 14-day streak: keep pushing! Stick to the daily testing workflows, back each other up, and you’ll get that approval email sooner than you think.
Thanks again for the support, everyone!
Hello everyone,
I’ve built an Android app focused on strict data privacy and sovereignty. It combines journaling, voice notes (with optional on-device speech-to-text), habit tracking, and goal management. It also uses optional, open-source AI models entirely on-device to generate insights and suggestions based on patterns in your data.
The Privacy Philosophy:
The Exchange: Google requires personal developer accounts to have 12 concurrent testers for 14 days before launching. I’m looking for a few reliable people to help me clear this hurdle.
In return, I will provide you with a promo code for a Lifetime Premium Unlock upfront. The app's free tier is already generous; the premium unlock specifically expands the historical length of data the local AI system analyzes for patterns. The code can be redeemed now and will automatically activate the moment the app goes live in production.
How to Join: To opt in, simply send me a DM with the email address associated with your Google Play Store account. I will whitelist your email in the Google Console and reply immediately with your testing download link and your lifetime promo code.
Alternatively, join the google group:

Testing Requirement: Opt in, install the app, and ideally spend 2–5 minutes a day exploring it for 14 days so Google registers the active test.
Thank you so much to anyone willing to help a solo developer get over the finish line!
