Audio format for HI Res Speakers

Just got my Edifier M60, great speaker! Should I go full FLAC file formats or makes no sense?
I can get them as I have paid subscription to a platform, although many times I am on Youtube as well.

Does FLAC does a lot of difference and its the way to go to fully enjoy the Hi Res speakers?

What happened? It just fell but I don't understand why, nothing to fix? Can it be fixed? I don't understand what got pulled out..

Edit: I fixed it with sillocone gluge gun. For a couple of years more.
