Is there a list of core capabilities all stylists have to have turned on? I was told I need to do ear piercings as it’s a necessary capability but I am absolutely not comfortable and don’t even think it’s a service Ulta should be providing.
So just curious what everyone’s experiences are with their SDE. I’m new to ulta coming from a mom and pop shop for 10 years and boy has this been a point of contention… Just wanted to get some clarity as to what that position is SUPPOSED to consist of, how the SDE is supposed to act towards stylists and what other stylists and salon guest coordinators experience is because I just don’t think what I’ve seen could be right.
I want and also need to make a report to the ethics hotline for the first time about one of my higher ups. I should have done it a while ago but my other coworkers are now insisting that I do because they can see the issue for themselves. My only issue is, if/when I make this report, the person will 100% know that it was me who filed the complaint. There’s no way around them knowing it was me, and this makes me uncomfortable. I’ve tried so hard to keep the work environment with them neutral as to not create tension and this just have not gotten better with this person treating me poorly and bullying me. I need advice and guidance on what this process looks like as I’m so close to just quitting and starting over somewhere else.
