I apologize for posting if it's not a butterfly or moth caterpillar but I think it is. Never seen it before. It's big, maybe 8cm, and really beautiful. Can anyone tell me what kind of butterfly or moth it will become one day? I'd love to see it.

I found this by the road. One is holding the other in its mouth (i guess) and apparently this is how they both died. Probably together. Or is it something else? Actually, I don't even know what I'm looking at :)
