QB Acceptance Rates vs. ED or RD Through Common App

Hi guys!

So, I've been wondering if QB NCM acceptance rates are actually much much much lower for all schools, even if 20-30% of finalists end up matching. As in schools that only accept 20-30 kids who noramlly has a 20% acceptance rate may end up lowering to 2% acceptance rate on QB.

Or taking a look at MIT where they accepted 100 kids last year but we all know like 1/3 (im hella guestimating lol) of people just shotgunned MIT partially because its the only EA school on QB.

Does anyone see what im talking about? What if common app is truly better than QB beacuse of the amount of finalists and the amount of people who join by faking their assests year after year.

probably just anxious thoughts but comment if ya'll thought something similar and we can discus

Lumierr Research

I am currently applying to Lumierr research program. I heard this is a pay to play but I really love research. Is it worth it even if I get 90-100% financial aid? And after I do get that do colleges still see it as a money grab?
