washu vs emory

Hey,

so i got accepted off the emory college waitlist yesterday and was previously committed to washu (business major)

if anyone has been in a similar situation or has any advice on how you would make this decision, i’d love to know. cost is virtually the same for me at both places

i don’t have time to visit the campuses so the 2 things i was considering mainly were

  1. location. i’m tryna do entrepreneurship and eventually end up with a startup, but i wouldn’t mind being a PM at a tech company. logically it seems like atlanta would be better for that, but everything online says it won’t matter that much so idk

  2. culture. one of my friends told me that emory is “lifeless” and that everyone is always stressed out and competitive, but i’ve also heard accounts saying the opposite. im not a big party guy, and i’ve read washu is more community like, so insight here would be much appreciated.

thanks!
