I haven't been prescribed medicine in over 20 years and that was for for an antibiotic. I'm 49 years old. My question is....

I'm going through premenopause why is it so difficult to get anti-anxiety meds?.

I am currently taking THC gummies daily to control my premenopause induced anxiety. Why produce medicine and sell it if nobody will prescribe it? I am not a med seeker. Just need medicine to help me through this phase of my life. I'm praying a Pharmaceutical rep will be able to answer this question for me.

Med seekers making it challenging for average patients that need medicine

I am not asking for medical advice. but please help me understand. I'm 49 years old. I have never been to a pharmacist. I've had a long trying life And am very strong and know how to control my mind and brain.. I am now going through menopause and having anxiety issues. When I asked my gynecologist to prescribe something for anxiety, I saw the fear of God come over him and told me he cannot give me anything. I told him My PCP has just left the community And he told me to just have more willpower and be stronger... why are doctors that studied medicine for 10-12 years afraid to prescribe to people that actually need the medicine. Especially when there are prescription commercials, billboards pamphlets everywhere you go in society asking you to ask your doctor to prescribe and they don't. I guess I'll stick to my very expensive self medicating Indica THC gummy regimen. Not sure why people go to medical school when they don't prescribe medicine. Just learn how to read people. But I guess too much studying doesn't allow you to learn how people act.
