I need help! Using tslim x2 & sleep mode 24/7 during pregnancy
Hi. I'm Dea, a Type 1 diabetic girl since 24 years, 34 years old and I’m 14 weeks pregnant.
i really need help cause I can't find any other experience reports or an answer to my question.
So... I've been using the tslim x2 for a week now in sleep mode 24/7. That works very well, I'm 89% TIR. However, the sleep mode target range is 112-120mg/dl. My doctors recommend a target range of 68-100 mg/dl. I don't understand how I can achieve that with the tslim. As far as I understand, the tslim in sleep mode tries to keep me between 112-120mg/dl. So as soon as I get to my personal target area, the tslim lowers the insulin delivery. That doesn't fit together, does it?
So what can I do to achieve my personal target range of 68-100 mg/dl? Does it help to increase the basal rate? Or does tslim just lower the basal rate more aggressively?
Does anyone have experience with this problem or does anyone know where I could get information about it?
Thanks a lot for your help!
Dea
