NTA Updated My Marks and Resolved My Issue

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a positive experience I recently had with NTA.

After receiving my result, I noticed an issue and contacted NTA through email with all the relevant details and supporting documents. I wasn't sure if they would respond or take any action, but after reviewing my case, they updated my marks and helped resolve the issue.

I appeared for NCET 2026 and I'm interested in pursuing the 4-year Integrated B.Com + B.Ed (ITEP) program. I am looking for colleges, preferably in Maharashtra, but I'm open to other states as well if they have good faculty, placements, and overall reputation. I can travel from Mumbai if required.

ITEP NCET 2026: Poor Exam Centre Conditions and Confusing Admission Process

Another issue that is causing a lot of confusion and frustration is the way the ITEP NCET results have been released. NTA has provided the scorecard with NTA scores, but in many cases there is no clearly mentioned percentile. At the same time, several universities and colleges are asking applicants to enter their percentile during the admission process. This leaves students in a difficult situation because we simply do not have the information that institutions are demanding from us.

The situation becomes even more stressful when considering that admissions for many regular undergraduate programmes have already progressed significantly, and some colleges have even closed their admission process. Students who opted for ITEP through NCET trusted that the admission process would be clear and coordinated. Instead, many candidates are now left wondering how they are supposed to apply when the required admission details are not available on their scorecards.

There needs to be immediate clarification from NTA and participating universities regarding whether the NTA Score is to be treated as a percentile, whether percentile data will be released separately, or whether institutions should stop asking for information that has not been provided to candidates. Students should not be penalized or risk losing admission opportunities because of a lack of communication between examining authorities and universities. After months of preparation, appearing for the examination under difficult conditions, and waiting for results, the least candidates deserve is a transparent and well-organized admission process.

Just wanted to share my experience with the ITEP NCET exam centre in Kalyan.

I appeared for the ITEP NCET examination at a centre in Kalyan, and I honestly feel that the conditions provided to students were completely unacceptable for a national-level examination. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the centre was not properly prepared to accommodate a large number of candidates. There was very poor ventilation, and the number of functioning fans was either insufficient or inadequate to handle the heat and humidity. Before the examination began, students were made to wait upstairs in extremely uncomfortable conditions. The area was crowded, hot, and lacked proper airflow, causing many candidates to become drenched in sweat even before entering the examination hall.

What made the situation worse was the lack of basic facilities that every examination centre should provide. There were no proper arrangements for drinking water, which was especially concerning given the weather conditions and the large number of students present. The washrooms were in a very poor and unhygienic condition, making them difficult to use. Many students were visibly uncomfortable and frustrated, yet there was little that could be done at that moment. An examination is already a stressful experience, and candidates should not have to deal with additional physical discomfort caused by poor infrastructure and management.

The purpose of an examination centre is to provide a fair and comfortable environment where students can focus entirely on their performance. Instead, many of us had to spend our energy coping with the heat, lack of facilities, and overall poor conditions. It is disappointing that students who work hard for months to prepare for such an important examination are made to sit through these circumstances. I hope the authorities responsible for selecting and monitoring examination centres take this issue seriously and conduct proper inspections in the future. Every candidate deserves basic amenities such as clean washrooms, access to drinking water, adequate ventilation, and a comfortable waiting area. These are not luxuries but fundamental requirements for any examination centre.

NTA arrangement for students

I appeared for the ITEP NCET examination at a centre in Kalyan. Unfortunately, the facilities provided at the centre were extremely poor. There were no proper fans or ventilation, and drinking water was not readily available. The washroom facilities were unhygienic and in very bad condition. Students were made to wait upstairs before the examination, and due to the lack of basic facilities, many candidates were drenched in sweat and felt uncomfortable even before the exam began. Such conditions created unnecessary stress and made it difficult for students to focus on their examination. I request the concerned authorities to look into this matter and ensure better arrangements for future examinations.
