Wrio and the Theather kids... I never doubted you...
I think I might try dire for the first time...

I think I might try dire for the first time...
Slightly still jaded, I greeded for C3 out of concern his rerun would never happen again, but super excited to see what C4 would do... This will officially be the highest limited con on my account... (non standard) May these next weeks speed by!
May everyone's Odette pulls be early and wins!
Arlecchino was my first 5‑star, every major investment I’ve made in this game has been with the goal of keeping her strong and relevant no matter how the meta shifts.
Since publishing my Varka testing data, I wanted to do the same for Arlecchino to see how many matchups (meta or not) she could realistically handle as a viable DPS option for IT, Fearless, and Abyss. I still have skill issues. I still have Wi‑Fi issues (especially switching characters' responses on controller and input registration), but I kept her rotations as consistent as possible across every test to keep things fair. And since Melt was the one thing I and others struggled with, I wanted to figure out why some players could do it easily while I couldn’t get it to work for the life of me at least until now, after a few hours of trying.
Character Data and Rotations tried under the tier data.
Also, I think I missed some teams I’ll update this later along with the scaled down CORE BUFFER test with Klee and Bennet for SS and S+ Tier cause I'm really interested in the fall-off scaling.
Let me know what you think. I did this for fun and I wanted to share before I contemplate getting C3. (Currently C2R1 for years) - TIPS ARE WELCOMED ~ (T_T)
Also note that I initially did testing with Nicole with the Idea that she is a CORE BUFFER and down scaling test could be done with Bennet C6/NO/SkywardBlade or Support Klee C2 on TTDS (Gift/Nobless) as a (no circle impact Bennet), depending on the situation since she has def-shred and catalyst access, alot of times out boost Bennet in other testing comps I did with Varka.

Arlecchino E → Core Buffer → Core Applicator/Shredder → Core Enabler/Applicator/Booster
After spending a full year investing mostly into Hexeri, I wanted to see just how flexible Sir Thighs really is when used as a main carry in random content. My first tests weren’t great most of my supports were under‑leveled and under‑built, so the results didn’t tell me much.
This updated round of testing is based on the supports I’ve actually built up over the last few months. I still have skill issues, I still have Wi‑Fi issues, but I kept Varka’s rotation as consistent as possible across every test to keep things fair.
I’m not sure if I’ve missed any combinations yet, but the goal was simple:
answer every “but what if…” question and see exactly how far Varka’s flexibility can go.

Not sure how hard I can push him into content he's not meant to go, but this man deserves it...
This better be the Era of Wriothesley's reckoning! My year of vertical and not horizontal investment ends here. Bina will have to wait til after the archon...
So like the title says, I finally picked up Citlali C2, and since all my other Arlecchino teams are straight Unga Bunga, I wanted to see if I could brute‑force my way around the usual Melt timing dependency. With a year of Hexeri investment behind me, I figured it was time to see whether I could break past the timing/skill problem entirely.
I think I’ve settled on Vape–Melt as the solution.
My goal was simple: spam attacks while keeping Pyro off the enemy, so every application window gives me either a Vape or a Melt. The rotation I’m running now is:
Arlecchino E → Nicole E → Citlali EQ → Mona EQ + N3 → Arlecchino CA → N6 until Skill is ready again
The idea is that the enemy’s aura should always be Cryo or Hydro, and if Pyro ever slips in by accident, Mona or Citlali immediately overwrite it with their next Hydro/Cryo application to be immediately apply one of the two aura before my next ICD. That keeps the reaction chain flowing and lets me benefit from Reverse Vape or Melt every time the ICD opens.
From what I’m seeing in the logs, it’s working exactly the way I intended.
My target was to outperform my Burning (260k) and OverVape (220k) Unga Bunga teams with a new Unga Bunga Vape–Melt setup — and based on the numbers, this team is doing exactly what I built it to do.
Let me know what you think. Am I too Unga Bunga pilled or is my mind set okay for the results.
Overall I have some flex comps for Fearless now. And I wish I got Citlali with more investments years ago.
Vape Melt: Arle Nicole Citlali Mona 270k
True Burning: Arle Nicole Emily Durin 260k
Over Vape: Arle Nicole Fish Mona 220k
Cheap Burn: Arle Nicole Emily Xilonen 200k
Arle C2R1, Nicole C2R1, Durin C2R1, Fish C6, Mona C4, Emily C1(Jade)
I know his BEST team is Dual Anemo and Dual Pyro, but the rest of the comp are lack luster atleast on my account. So I am on the Journey to level my other Cryo/Hydro/Electro units from 70 that can do some decent damage off-field to create Reaction Teams. From my understanding, when not using Dual Anemo, you still get the rest of Varka's Kit minus the 220% boost that goes down to 140% But my mindset is that if the off-field can be as "good" as durin for off-field dps and the other PECH entry is a booster support and can supply elemental application enough to get reactions, then this might bridge that gap that is missing for the non Pyro PECH team matchup. As well as open Varka up more with his Swiss Army Knife kit. In this test scenario, I used Varka Nicole for AMP and Pyro infusion since Pyro over takes all. I originally tried Durin instead of Nicole and... yep, that was a bad idea fighting him for reactions.
If the chart is confusing, this is a test with Dual Anemo VS Pyro Infusion Reaction with ECH comps.
Varka / Esco / Citlali / Prune = 87k DPS (standard Dual setup at 220%)
Varka / Nicole / Esco / Citlali = 158k DPS (Melt comp setup at 140%) - better when melting your E's
As of now, Cryo is my most leveled. And I am SURE if i had Citlali c2 this results for that one would be better. As for the others, I am lacking in unit levels and talents. But I think I can get something going well if I can get them 81 and higher talents.
I have a skill issue but you can Melt his E's if timed correctly. I want to redo these test when I get all the other test subjects leveled.
Please let me know what you think.
Trying to see if these are proper numbers. Dashing combos only made my numbers lower. This is pure amp and attacking. Arle C2R1 Xil C2 Fish C6 and Nicole C2R1
Arle E > Xilonen E > Fish E or Q alternating > Nicole E > Unga Bunga
My overall goal was 200k without needing to time melts or vapes, which still got nowhere near this number for me (140-160k). I'm too skill issue, I guess... even with EM logos it didn't work well. Not this well.
But anyway, has anyone tried this to see what they get number-wise?
I have to enjoy this before his kit changes. I hope the new things are better than this.
I mean, I only wanted 200k the first time I ever went all in on a character's team.
C2R1 Varka
C2R1 Durin
C2R1 Nicole
C6 Prune
They aren't even fully built yet... I think I went too far, but I think I am a Varka Main now...
