I’m new to using him, so I know that he applies cryo since his combos involve executing normal and charged attacks. Is his rate of cryo application reliable enough to assume a base crit rate of 69% before taking the battlefield, while using the Disenchantment set?

If not, is there any real point of cryo resonance, or is it mostly for freeze teams?

Pretty straightforward, I can only afford one more guaranteed 5 star item on the current banner. So I was wondering what's the best choice between either: cashflow, his C1 (with 25% chance of losing the 50/50 to yae) or just Yae with a chance of loosing the 50/50 to him. Wish I could grab his C2 but it is what it is...

I have c5r1 wrio, and will get a c1r1 yae from the free constellation.

I’m seeing people calc the new buffed wrio at 200k, so is this with c6?

I don’t really plan to get c6, as I’m just saving for Odette right now, have no pulls after Lohen and Nicole. But will get it if it’s necessary to keep him meta relevant!

as a wrio main since release, who pulled c1 on his first banner to guarantee team flexibility, i still feel quite sad for having this quality of life be taken away from us in his new premium team. it just feels very bad to pull a con to solve his hp manipulation aspect but then have his stellar form completely ignore it. I'm aware i should be thankful because he's a top dps now but that doesn't mean i can't express displeasure with how practically useless his c1 feels in stellar teams now. I'm particularly upset since >!a certain op four star made to elevate ssc teams basically nerfs c1+ wriothesley with his heals!< again, i don't want to come off as whiny it just sucks a bit that we're back to just sticking to shielders and praying to god nothing interferes with the duke's hp. either that, or you're unhinged and run sustainless./hj

I'm aware that Nicole is probably still the best sustain option until we (hopefully) get a stellar superconduct shielder; however, she's also quite heavily contested for in other teams, mainly Varka and Kinich with Durin, where she can take advantage of the hex buff. This also applies to Citlali and Ineffa, where you have to deal with the opportunity cost of not running them in teams that can fully take advantage of their kits (Mavuika and Flins).

Because of these factors, I think Lan Yan can fit in decently well as a very accessible sustain that still provides some useful things for the team:

• Cryo+Electro res shred through VV
• Catalyst, so can carry TTDS
• Good shield strength, although uptime is a bit short
• At C4, provides a teamwide 60 EM after bursting
• Most people should have her / can get her through the Lantern Rite selector

Of course, none of this is relevant if you're planning on just going sustainless (which should be doable for Wrio anyways), though I'd argue some of the better 4th slot options, like Sucrose, are also quite heavily contested in other teams. I just figured that she seemed like a good, free alternative that I haven't really seen anyone mention in the sustain discussion.

I don’t think I can get both of them, so who’s more important DPS wise for wrio? I could replace Yae with fischl or odette with cryo MC
