I am diving head first into this glorious chapter and have been hard at work trying different paints and methods for getting the yellow just right.
These are the two models I've been happiest with so far and I think I'm ready to pick a method/color but I could use some feedback from you wonderful people.
Both are primed with wraithbone spray
The left is imperial fist contrast paint
The right is straight yriel yellow (no highlights yet)
Recess shading done with "marine juice" (which I'm not sold on entirely yet, and would love some opinions on other methods)
I'm really loving both so you all will be the tie breaker.
What do you guys think? What are your preferred recipes and methods? What are your favorite yellow paints?
