Frankenwatch

Observe my frankenwatch. This was my one and only ever eBay watch. I bought it sometime on or about '07. I think it was in the 300-400 dollar range then. It's an unholy monster but still interesting to me, plus I've been sorta stuck with it as I'm not the counterfeit passing type. Google tells me the caseback (and I suspect case/crystal as well) is from a Accutron movement Omega. The movement inside is a combination of parts from 1020 and 1022 movements I believe. And the dial/hands?? No idea if they're real or not.

I would be very interested to learn anything else from expert eyes.

Anything I should know about this before I send her to Omega?

Hello,

This is my father's Seamaster, as you can see it was daily wear for decades. Is there anything of interest I should know? Could anyone provide the ref number?

I have never been searching for it on chrono24 off and on for years but have never seen this exact combination of numerals/markers, dial and hands so it's a bit mysterious to me.

I plan on spending the money to send it back to Omega, sentimental value is high.

(Still runs and keeps good time, power reserve is <10hrs nowadays)

Behold, my stuff

There it is. The de ville was bequeathed to me over 20 years ago. The rest have trickled in. A growing disposable income is speeding things along now. (Nothing at all to do with midlife crises)
