How strict are the the proctors with OA’s?

I just started June 1st and I’m on my 3rd class. I had 1 other OA prior to this one but the day I took that OA my house was completely quiet as my kids weren’t home that week. I’m a mom of 3 and while the older kids are away for summer vacation, Right now I have my 5yr old daughter and she’s not the quietest kid and has a big personality. I’m sure I can keep her occupied in her room playing with her toys and watching tv but there is a chance she may come out of her room and want or need me for something or just say something. If that were to happen, would they stop my exam and fail me? Or would they be understanding that she’s only 5? Anyone had any similar experiences?

What’s the best way to accelerate?

Hey everyone, I (28F) enrolled in WGU for my BSCSIA and started on the 1st of this month. I have absolutely no IT knowledge or experience and no transfer credits either. I worked in the medical field for 10yrs and really wanted a career change and took a liking to certain roles in cyber security so I decided to make the leap and start. I’m a mom of 3 and work full time as well. I would like to accelerate through the course (I know 1 term is not realistic for me but maybe 3-4 terms) while still learning & retaining important information that I will use and need to know in my career. I’m on my 3rd class currently which is D685 and have D322 next. For those that went for their BSCSIA what’s your advice for a newbie on the best way to accelerate through the program while still understanding and retaining the knowledge & information? I truly do not want to be enrolled for all 10 terms.

What kind of external webcams are you using for OAs?

I was looking into getting the Webcam 1000 that’s recommended by WGU but there isn’t much reviews or anything on it besides one that I found that says it’s cheaply made and I don’t want to dish out $50 for a webcam may stop working in a year or less. But it also has the 8in gooseneck so I won’t need a tripod. If anyone has any recommendations on anything better and reliable please let me know I’m open to any suggestions (just please not anything over $100)
