I'm not trying to be rude, I actually have had weird experiences that seemed kinda like that. But I really want to understand why some come to this conclusion rather than others (example: religion)

Are Ghosts are real ? If it actually the souls of the dead or could be something Eles ? Something every human eye cannot see ?

Hi! This is my first time posting, and I just wanna know if what I have recently discovered is something that is normal, weird, heard of, unheard of, or anything at all!

For a little context: I live in the middle of nowhere.. like down a county road type of nowhere, very few neighbors (none in walking distance), most of the land out here is farming and hunting land.

It's common for people to have little side of the road 'honor system' booths set up where they sell eggs and what not from their farms.

So, down the road a little ways from me is one of these booths, it's nice looking and decorated with flowers or something (I'm not too sure because I'm usually driving by too fast to really see what the booth has in it).

But, I just found out that it is not an egg selling booth.. in fact it is a phone booth (i have no idea if it works). This apparently is no ordinary phone booth because at night there are some people that go to that phone booth and use it...

to talk to dead people.

I just wanna know if this is a common thing that I'm just now learning about? Has anyone heard of anything like this?

And lemme say, I ain't knockin it.. I believe in a lot of stuff. I'm just curious.

And, I kinda wanna go pick up the phone...

My Dad passed away unexpectedly from an overdose a few years ago now, and I haven’t had any blatant “signs” from him. Because of the way he died there obviously wasn’t any goodbyes before he passed or anything like that, and on top of that he was only 57. He was the kind of person that always wanted me to know that he was always there if I needed anything even though he wasn’t involved in my day to day. Definitely not the kind of Dad to fall off the face of the earth and that be the end of it, not quite sure how to put that into words but I guess I just would think he would find a way to communicate with me somehow.

On top of that, when I was younger I used to love watching Ghost Adventures with him and he would always make fun of all of it (don’t even blame him honestly, some of Zak’s EVP’s are a little questionable lol but that’s a conversation for a different day), and we’d always go on our own little “ghost hunts” around some older areas of our town etc. I bring that up because obviously he knew I’m into the afterlife and ghosts and what not and you’d think he’d be all over the place, but yet it’s been crickets.

Curious if anyone else here has similar struggles with that or anyone has any thoughts on it!

Last night, my husband went to bed about an hour before I did. We usually scroll on our phones for a bit before falling asleep, but always at a very low volume so we don’t disturb each other. He had already fallen asleep by the time I went to bed, so I was lying there watching some random short content on my own phone.

Around 1 a.m., his phone suddenly started playing TikTok really loudly on its own. I got so spooked because he never scrolls or watches anything at that volume, especially before going to sleep.
I got out of bed, went over to his side and tried turning his phone off with the side button, but it wouldn’t respond. I ended up turning the screen on and had to swipe and close 3 or 4 apps before I finally found TikTok and stopped the sound.

I know some of you will say the phone simply malfunctioned… But what really freaked me out was how drastically the volume had changed. Something like that has never happened before.

Earlier that day, we had been talking about the tragic passing of a member who was hit by a car. So now I’m wondering… could something like this ever be a sign from someone on the other side?

I wish I had one that truly is odd but I don't, doubly sad that I don't even believe in ghosts. When I was little I would see ghosts all the time, like a woman floating across the room or a man staring at me in the window (tbh it was just childhood trauma) but these experiences have made me crave everything paranormal. So please share your most interesting stories (or don't)

I recently stayed at a b&b in Stillwater, Minnesota, called The Outing Lodge, which is this big old charming house. It has a kind of spooky history in that it used to be a "poor farm" in the 1800s, and many of the original residents are buried in unmarked graves nearby.

I was there for two nights for a wedding. The first night, we got back kind of late and I stayed up watching a movie til about 2am. I was probably asleep for an hour or so when I heard someone whispering my name two or three times. Then, I heard my name said right in my ear, and that woke me up from my dream state. The first voice, the whispering, sounded more like a child's voice, and the voice right in my ear sounded more like a man's. I didn't move or even open my eyes.

The second night, we were going to go out after the wedding reception. One of the other guests (who does not drink) was going to grab something from my room before we left. He came back to me and asked for the key...I told him the door is unlocked, I had left it unlocked and other guests had come & gone from the room all day. He tried the door again...still locked...then he heard something click inside, and he was able to open the door.

I know there is a perfectly logical explanation for both of these things; night one, I had a bad dream, night two, something stuck/malfunctioned on an old lock. It was all just very creepy. I wanted to ask if anyone else had stayed at this b&b and had a similar experience? I didn't find very much just doing a google search.

This happened when I was a freshman in high school in 2013. We went as a class on a service trip to Costa Rica (this was a very small independent school). We were lodged in pairs with host families in a very small village in the mountains. Me and my classmate went to sleep in our bunk beds for the night. In the middle of the night I wake up for no particular reason. I’m definitely fully awake and not dreaming, and I’m not experiencing sleep paralysis (I had experienced it once before and once later in college, this was not that). I don’t see anything, I’m just lying in bed, but I hear a voice whisper. The voice almost sounds like the wind if that makes sense, but there wasn’t any wind outside at all.

The voice whispers: “where are you?”. It holds the “are”. It whispers it again: “where arrrrrre you?”. It does a third time, and this time a similar voice responds: “right here”. This call and response repeats two more times before stopping.

I’ve only started thinking about this again recently. I’ve never bought into the paranormal and after this encounter I more or less brushed it off. If anything I’m looking for a non-paranormal explanation but unlike other weird stuff I’ve encountered I can’t really find one. Any thoughts? Did I overhear a ghastly and ethereal conversation?

Just wanted to ask a question .. do people believe in reincarnation?

I'm just curious since the majority of people in the world have divided opinions… some say that when a person passes away, the soul either goes to heaven or hell..

Does this mean reincarnation isn't true?…

But I remember when my grandma died back in 2015..
She was laid to rest for three days ..
I dreamed of her .. we were walking on a long path..

The background was red, and while we were walking, my grandma was talking and even gesturing.

While she was talking to me.. it felt like she was explaining something, but in that dream .. I couldn’t hear anything..

On our left and right, there were people who were “faceless”
Some of them looked like they were kneeling, really struggling

There were others who were crying…

So I think…. On the third day of my grandma's wake..

Her soul was in “purgatory”

This is just my opinion because I believe that
After death, before a person's soul is judged on whether it goes to heaven or hell ..

The soul might linger in the “in between” or what’s more commonly known as “purgatory.”

TW: talking about blood and death ig: know that's a strong claim, but I really think I am. Breif recap of how he died, he was 5 months and got out when we accidentally left the door open to go somewhere, I had thought about putting him in the room with all his stuff where I knew he'd be safe since I didn't want to risk him getting out when we opened the door (I was upstairs and didn't know my sister had opened the door yet since we where normally careful with it so I assumed she hadn't and also he hadn't escaped in a while) anyway I didn't and he ran down and onto the road and was ran over after my sister tried to get him back in. It was bloody and an awful night. We loved him so much and he loved us, it was around christmas we had him and I think it was so hard since after he died everything went completely downhill, from a perfect family christmas with my sister finally home from moving away for a few years, and then suddenly after he died we're all fighting and a mess and she's travelling to a dangerous place for whatever reason and since my anxiety was so bad after that since I had been 15 and it had visually been very bloody and all, I was already grieving loosing her even though she got home safe. Anyway, the fact I didn't put him in the room with his stuff I worry he might of been mad or somthing. Fast forward a few days, it's midnight and me and my sister are messaging eachother from our rooms talking about the night for the first real time on a deeper one to one level, sending eachother lyrics that remind us of the night from Spotify songs and just saying how we had felt since it had only been me and her and some random lady who we don't know that had been there so we where both on the same page (random lady's out of the picture if ur wondering lol, she was a legend), after an hour or so we heard a very loud crash. She asked what was that so I went to see, the shelves in the bathroom had fell, suction cup ones we got off Facebook for free when he was alive and during the best times of the holdiay time, which I already found odd, my sister said he had liked to jump up onto them, I don't know if it's true or she's just trying to give me hope, which was the first thing. The second was the feeling of being watched the night after he died, I could here meowing which could just be my mind but I'm pretty sure I heard a squeaking meow sound under my bed. Whatever. The one that freaks me the most is months after it happened we got a new kitten and me and my mum where talking about him and about our new kitten, suddenly the light flickered and went out, not fully but like it's sparking inside the bulb and isn't at all lighting more than a little flicker than casts the room in an odd gray dark tone. Also the feeling that whenever I start to get over it and better iy suddenly comes all back which easily could just be getting better since it wasn't too long ago and we loved him so much. Anyway ik that's a lot to read but i need an opinion

Is there a person or place I can send spirit box recordings to, I’m having trouble deciphering some that I have, and some seems to be a different language. Thanks :)
