FINAL (hopefully) UPDATE:
The police knocked on my door this morning. Apparently my neighbor 2 doors down was caught on camera entering my next door neighbors house last night while they were sleeping. They asked me if anything had gone missing recently and I said no but we keep having these weird instances etc.
He was arrested and they found a recently used meth pipe on his kitchen counter. Apparently this dude has been tweaking for who knows how long and has been entering houses in the neighborhood. Other neighbors had made police reports but without camera footage the cops didn’t do much about it.
Am I 100% he came in my house? No. Is the timing a little friggin suspicious? Absolutely. Honestly the idea of some meth head coming into my house with my wife and baby is too much for me. I’d rather have a poltergeist. I live in a pretty solid area and haven’t heard of much crime around here… but apparently this guy is well known to the police and after living here for 4 years my neighbors are now starting to tell me about all the shit that’s gone on with this dude.. including holding his wife hostage while on a bender. Great neighborhood!
Update:
I checked the basement crawl space and attic crawl space yesterday and set up a camera in my kitchen. I didn’t “find” anything in either the crawl space or attic.. other than a pile of plastic tubs with holiday decorations etc that both my wife and I believe was in a different spot away from the door along the perimeter. I remember them being next to the door. You have to climb a ladder to get into the attic and I only store a few things up there so I just don’t know why I’d work harder to get the stuff. At 10pm both my wife and I once again heard 3 knocks. I checked literally everything. Nothing unlocked/open etc. I took it a step further and literally drilled a lock into the attic opening to prevent it from opening. Nothing on the camera during the knocking or any other time of the night. I know for sure this knocking is within my house. Wish I had more of an update for you guys.
Alright. This one is weird and I am hoping someone can give me a rational explanation for this.
Little backstory - I’ve owned this home for 4 years now and can only think of 1 other weird instance.
I was out with a buddy this past week with my wife/kid/dog at home. My wife/kid/dog were in our bedroom with the door open. My wife heard a loud “thud” and then a sliding noise. She came out to find this. That shorter cabinet is 35ish lbs, filled with kitchen items. The taller is around 40lbs stacked with plates. She did not hear any rattling plates etc (which I would think you’d hear if a small animal had pushed the cabinets).
The next night I woke up at midnight to 3 very distinct knocks. My dog didn’t alert or anything so I just laid there and went back to bed.
Last night I was laying in bed and heard the 3 distinct knocks around 930pm. I paused the tv to listen and then heard the 3 knocks again. At this point I’m thinking something’s going on so I walked around and nothing. I woke up again at 1am to my dog absolutely vibrating scared and then again - 3 distinct knocks.
Some background - it was raining outside but not bad. The only other weird instance I’ve had in this house was when my wife was out of town. At 11pm I heard what sounded like plywood clattering in the hall. I walk in and see the hatch to my attic was open with the cover pushed almost 2 feet over. At the time I thought it was a weird pressure thing.
Can someone give me a rational explanation to this??
Sorry if this has been posted already! I was watching a recent Law & Crime video on the Mackenzie Shirilla case and commenters pointed out that they can hear a ghostly voice say “she killed us” as the cop buckles her into his patrol car.
I thought this could be the result of editing of the Law & Crime video so I found the raw footage and the voice is indeed still there. You can hear it around the 2:44 mark.
This post is in NO WAY trying to disrespect the victims, Dominic Russo and Davion Flanagan. May they rest in peace and my heart truly goes out to their families.
With that being said, what do you think of this recording??

I went to a hotel with my girlfriend. I was drinking and got pretty drunk, but my girlfriend didn’t drink at all. Later at night, she said she wanted to leave early because she needed to catch the bus and didn’t want to spend money on Grab. I was too drunk to follow her, so I stayed in the room.
Before leaving, she even packed my things properly because she knew I was completely out of it.
After she left, we were still texting for a bit. I remember lying on the bed half asleep staring at the ceiling. The room was really small, and the bathroom was literally only a few steps away from the bed.
Then something happened that I genuinely cannot explain.
I suddenly heard my girlfriend’s voice coming from inside the bathroom.
At first it sounded completely normal. She was asking me things like what time I was going home and saying maybe I should just stay longer. Her voice sounded EXACTLY like her. Not “similar.” EXACTLY her.
Then the way she spoke slowly became more seductive and weirdly playful, like she was trying to get my attention.
The scariest part is… I replied back to it.
I was actually having a conversation with whatever was inside that bathroom because I fully believed my girlfriend was still there. I remember feeling confused because I thought she already left, but my drunk brain just accepted it.
Then suddenly my phone notification went off beside me.
I looked at my phone.
It was my girlfriend texting me:
“Did you go home yet?”
The second I read that message, I swear all the drunkness disappeared instantly. My entire body went cold.
Because just seconds before that, I had literally been hearing her voice from the bathroom and TALKING BACK TO IT.
Everything became dead silent after I looked at the phone.
Then out of nowhere…
The toilet flushed by itself.
I froze completely. I didn’t even want to move. I remember my heart beating so hard that my chest hurt.
After a few seconds, I forced myself to check the toilet because my brain was desperately trying to find a logical explanation.
But when I checked it, there wasn’t even enough water left for another flush.
That’s when I genuinely panicked.
My hands were shaking while grabbing my stuff. I didn’t even look around the room properly because I felt this horrible feeling like something was watching me and waiting for me to react to it.
Before leaving the hotel, I confronted one of the workers and told him what happened.
What scared me even more was how calm he reacted.
He just casually told me that the hotel has had “disturbances” before and said as long as I don’t pay attention to them, I’ll be fine.
LIKE BRO WHAT DO YOU MEAN “DON’T PAY ATTENTION”???
I left immediately and booked a Grab. Even inside the car I kept replaying everything in my head trying to convince myself it was just alcohol.
But I still cannot explain:
- How I heard full conversations so clearly
- Why the voice sounded EXACTLY like my girlfriend
- Why the toilet flushed right after
- And why the worker reacted like this wasn’t even unusual
I barely slept after that.
Has anyone experienced something like this before?
Can alcohol seriously make someone hear things THIS realistically?
Or did I actually experience something paranormal?
The title says it all really.
My daughter is now 2,5yo and she is really talkative now. Last month all of a sudden when next to me in bed (we still sleep together), after her story she suddenly says "daddy I am afraid.." so I ask her why and she tells me "that someone is coming in and bite me" I thought I misunderstood. But she repeated it a couple of times.
It went through my head she was stalling for bedtime as she, and kids in general, do but this was different. That night she woke up her mom with the same story.
Now we've been away for a while to my mom's house, hasn't mentioned it the whole time. We come home and again, just in the living room this time she tells her mom she's scared of the man and that he's gonna bite her. Her mom asks what man. And she point to the window and says "that man mom!" Like her mom would see him too. She goes on to tell her mom he sometimes comes inside too. And mainly that she's scared.
Apparently I can't ask requests but any of you have a similar exp?
Edit: Today she told her mom she has pushed it away, it goes away but it always comes back. She said it bites her all over. Also that it bothers her little brother.
We found someone we told the story to that says a bunch of people were killed in the area and one of them was very angry about dying before he died. He says that that is what's bothering her.
He made us prepare something and sprinkle it around the house and other places she had seen it. Also rub it on her arms, legs and face to protect her and the house against it.
The mixture was of water, onion, garlic, bluing, pompeia lotion and sulphur. He prayed over the bucket and then I had to sprinkle the water around the house from top to bottom and outside, the places my daughter has seen this thing.
After that I put seasalt in little cups in every corner of the house. The plan was to not wash the floor for 3 days.
I am adding this for everyone that is in a similar situation and looking for a solution.
The man that did this for us is a family friend called Uncle and he does this for free. He is a poor man. My wife is from south america and she tells me it is a blessing and a curse, but if you use your gift to become richer it will become corrupt. So there's some stories of others providing the same service but after they asked for stuff their blessing didn't work anymore.

My boyfriend and I where sitting on the couch talking and he stops an looks up spooked and snapped this pic (I’m sitting in front of the window on the couch across from him btw). I went to open the door and he said it left nothing was there sooo I’ve tried editing to separate shadows but I’m poop at editing I’m at a loss so any input would be appreciated thanks.
We were leaving to go out on a date night, and we had a drink before leaving, but neither of us remember me screaming as we left and even if it was me at the bottom of the steps, I feel like I was way too far away for it to be that loud, plus my voice doesn't even sound like that, I'm pretty sure I couldn't scream like that if I tried.
Also it was 11pm and I remember being careful to be quiet because we have neighbors with kids so I make a habit to be quiet if leaving late at night.
No one else was home, just him and I live there and no one else was there or near the door when we left.
We haven't experienced any other types of paranormal activity since living in our home which has been about 2 and 1/2 years now. However the reason we checked the camera footage, was because he lost his keys that night, and this confirmed that we did lock the door so the keys had to have made it home with us or we wouldn't have gotten in the house, however we have looked absolutely everywhere, even checked the trash just to be sure, and they have entirely vanished. Unfortunately the camera did not detect our motion when coming home, just us leaving.
The night after this I did have an eerie feeling I normally never have when I went to the bedroom at the end of the night and ended up lighting some frankincense to cleanse the atmosphere, normally after watching scary movies too, I never feel that creeped out but the air felt unusually heavy, and at that time I hadn't even checked the camera footage yet so I didn't have that reason to be creeped out either
Would love to know what type of spirit this could be so I can properly cleanse my home if needed and maybe if a spirit took the keys, have them returned as well 😅
For background, my partner and I live in a Victorian home built in 1891 with our small, previously stray cat. We have lived here for about six months. Throughout that time three of our fire alarms have begun to beep as though the batteries need to replaced. These alarms were all replaced in March of 2025 but have expiration dates of 2035. The fire alarms have been wrapped up in tshirts and placed in the pantry. Last week one randomly went off as though it detected smoke for about thirty seconds and then stopped; all while cocooned in two tshirts locked away in the pantry. It did this twice in one day. Now, none of the fire alarms are beeping but will surely start again. Until last night I have chalked it up to cheap, poorly made fire alarms. I have had items go missing, in particular a shirt that was missing tor two months. I searched the house several times and accepted the loss, just for it to resurface in my drawer last week. Again, I chalked this up to my scattered brain. I personally have experienced strange sounds such as distant footsteps, seen shadows just out of the corner of my eyes that I mistook for the cat, and on occasion smelled out of place scents. All attributed to my own imagination and nearsightedness. Overall, the home is cozy and I don’t often feel frightened here. On occasion I have left a room with a feeling of someone being nearby. Our cat will also on occasion become alert and stare off into other rooms. I have brushed it all off as living in an old home. I often say it’s just a home with quirks.
Last night, my partner and I were woken up by a loud metallic clang. He proceeded to investigate and discovered a fork had fallen from the counter to the floor. His response was surely the cat had committed this act. When I asked if she was in the kitchen he said no. So I found her, sleeping in my office, squinting at me because I had woken her up. She is not a cat that hops up onto the kitchen counter. It is often littered with many goodies for her to disturb yet this has never happened in the past. Again, she was asleep in another room curled up and relaxed, annoyed by the commotion. I reached out to the previous tenant and she too has experienced the same exact things in the house. She additionally reported slamming doors and electrical problems and of course, many faulty fire alarms replaced by a very confused landlord. I am beginning to think this may be something more when put together. My partner thinks I’m dramatic. So what do you think, is my old home haunted?
Hey guys so I was walking home yesterday through this dog walking park near my house, there is a parkkeeper who lives there I believe and i always thought his house looks so cosy and secluded so as I was walking home I took this cute pic of the house, the park is opposite an incredibly haunted church but I’ve never seen anything there, I snapped this photo and decided to send it to my mum who doesn’t live near me and I thought she’d wanna see, it’s then I noticed that there is something seemingly something lurking behind a tree at first I thought maybe it’s some weirdo person idk, until I noticed that it looks tall, skinny and has these weird kind of hind legs, idk I’m definitely weirded out and wanted everyone’s opinions?
Hello, I have had this video since 2019 and forgot about it until recently. The back story. I was at work one night doing the closing procedures for the store I worked at. The secerity monitoring screen sits on the desk where i do the closing tasks. As im working i see something on the cameras out of the corner of my eye. It catches my attention because it is only me and one other co worker in the store. I enlarge the camera with the movment and re wound a minute or two. This is what I saw. I have shown it to friends and family but havent posted it anywhere. I am wondering if it is paranormal? A camera glitch? a bug? What do you think it is?
This happened 30 years ago. I never told anyone because I didn’t know how they would react. I worked at a restaurant (very old building) where later I learned had paranormal activity.
It was setting up for the day, the only one present in the room at the time. Something made me stop what I was doing to look up. I saw a black formation, oval in shape, and approx 6ft in height. There was purple and yellow hues outlining it. It was as though it was trying to form into a person? I was frozen and just stared. It lasted approx 10-15 seconds.
I walked away and all of a sudden I felt static electricity on both of my hands? Couldn’t get rid of it… even tried washing my hands. Finally went away. Never knew what to make of that.
So when I was a kid prob around 7-9 I woke up in the middle of the night had this light up cube clock so I can tell the time prob around 3:30-3:40 ish something touched my feet. So yes I got scared started kicking the air and ran to my mom’s room crying. And the other encounter happened when I was 12. I think I was going to go downstairs from my bedroom upstairs and I look up to the attic door for a few seconds (because it was right next to the exit) and I see a shadow figure probably the same size and a adult male and I remember running down the stairs saying “nope fuck that!.” And that’s all I remember Aslo to note my mom told me a few times that someone told her that this house was “haunted” and a baby died here and the exact house this house was built was around 1890-1910 that’s it

One night I woke up and heard the wind whistling outside,Making me think it was a lot of ghosts. I went outside and it was all over, BUT AT THAT MOMENT WHAT COULD IT BE!? Could it be related to that giant thing in the church?
