Which handwriting method should I use to improve my handwriting?

When I was in third grade, my teacher tried to teach me cursive, and while I didn’t do it well, it changed my handwriting. I like my handwriting but think it could be better, so this summer I plan to learn more about cursive to improve my penmanship. There are many styles and methods, so I’m asking which would be best for improving my handwriting, and is there a book out there that can help me change my handwriting into the method? Also, how does my penmanship look?
