A friend gave me a box of old electronics that had been sitting in storage for years. Inside was a Sony Cyber-shot camera from the early 2000s.

Most of the photos were normal family pictures, but there was one image that neither of us could explain.

The metadata says it was taken in November 2002. The strange part is that I can't identify the hotel, and after zooming in, there appears to be someone standing at the end of the corridor.

I originally thought it was just a guest, but the perspective feels wrong. The hallway seems much longer than it should be, and I can't tell where it actually ends.

Maybe it's nothing.

Does anyone recognize this place or notice anything unusual in the image?

I came across this while looking through online map imagery.
It has a strong liminal and unusual atmosphere that reminded me of certain abstract environments.

I’m not sure if it’s just a normal place or if it only appears unusual in this context.
