So I was wondering (my first ever post)

(Spoilers to the new movie) I was wondering how the bacteria got into the series but not the movie so I created this theory (and just a theory not canon) as we know the Bacteria/howler/life form we see it first in the pit falls that happens with two months before the movie so what if after the first human(I still didn’t watch the pit falls yet) it got curious not knowing there is a upper part to the big backrooms so it climbed out of the downer part of the backrooms or if it knows about captain Clark life form it was weaker then him so after his defeat the Bacteria now owned the whole down and upper sides of the backrooms, leave your ideas on this and I will read and respond, see ya guys

it was captain clark in the beginning

this means that this was filmed after clark got bitten because u can hear it eating the person behind the camera but captain didn’t eat or attack people before clark started eating the entities inside the backrooms and because captains a copy it only got that trait after clark did it which also means captain clark doesn’t know it’s doing bad it’s just doing what it knows eating people. that’s why i don’t believe it was him that killed bobby or kat because that happened before it knew how to kill also it was moving way to fast for someone who has a peg leg that’s just my theory

What did you guys think about the backrooms movie for all who saw it

I’m not a fan of Kane parsons version of the backrooms I’m kinda a purist ig when it comes to the backrooms I still went and saw the movie to support backrooms as a whole and give it a fair shot I’m curious as this is the true backrooms subreddit what did yall think about it? I’d love to know your thoughts and discussions

The Backrooms are inescapable. Unless you have Thor's hammer. Try it in "Backrooms Break"

[Steam Link] - Explore and break the environments of the Backrooms! Utilize Thor's demolition hammer, firearms, and explosives to carve your way through the walls and entities. This isn't just another mundane walking simulator game. Now the entities are the victims. Overcome your fears with violence.

A Strange Psychiatric hospital...

If you're not careful and don't give "him" a valid reason, be warned—"he" will punish you! The probability of "he" letting you go is 0.0000001%. If not, you can ask the people who have been missing for years…

Adhere to the following rules:

  1. You must have a complete and verifiable reason for being here.

  2. Stay away from "Room 1" and under no circumstances enter it!

  3. If "he" gets you, you're 99.99999% dead…

God protect you and everyone else who enters the Psychiatric Hospital…

The house below the hills. (READ DESC FOR LORE IMAGE NOT CREATED BY ME I AM NO ARTIST BUT I LIKE TO WRITE). - PS if anyone wants to make pictures of this or something feel free because I’d love it. Finally this is my first attempt at something like this so go easy please 😭

Upon wandering lost in the maze of the nostalgic and somewhat unsettling location of level 94 - house on the hills or motion - you find a strange opening in the ground, one not big enough for a human to fit in without going on all fours. But you decide.. well ‘fuck it’ it can’t be far worse than this place.. hopefully.

After a cramped and claustrophobic crawl you find yourself in an empty field devoid of the usual 1930’s retro houses of level 94, but the returning bright colours that sit uneasy in your stomach for their ‘too perfect’ and vibrant nature remains. You look around you, spinning around in a large circle and there it is, the house under the hills.

‘Another house?’ You think to yourself feeling that sense of dread from the repetitive nature of this place. You decide to approach the house, the grass around you unmoving, no breeze, no ‘earthy sound’ everything feels artificial the pavement you walk along doesn’t even feel like concrete… if that’s even possible, everything is so familiar, but something is always missing.

You look into the windows trying to see something, the windows are blacked out, no light in, no light out. You approach the door, huffing and you take in the awful surroundings before reaching out for the door handle and slowly twisting it.

The door shuts as you enter.. and.. nothing. No way out, the door gone and there you are blinded by the lack light, you begin to panic, then you hear it. The creaking in the corner of the room. Now here you are alone, or so you thought.

Whatever the house hides, it doesn’t want its secrets to leak.

It’s all the same, yet different.

Ever since i stepped out of my car, and didn’t land on the floor, I’ve been wandering. I stopped hoping for an exit Days ago. I hope nobody ever goes through what I am ever again.

The Obsession/ Backrooms Hype Seems Forced

It feels very weird to me. I hadn’t heard about them at all, despite having semi-regularly seen skits by the guy who made Obsession (so I feel like I should have had it plugged to me before now) and now they seem to be all over my FYP.

I rarely see actual clips of them, or reviews - It’s all just hype about the directors, weird gags for promotion, and comparisons to Barbenheimer. I don’t know anyone IRL that has seen it nor had any friends mention it to me before my algorithm started plugging it a week ago (it feels a bit weird - organic trends don’t hit us all on the same day) and (again) it feels so out of the blue given that I hadn’t heard a word about them till recently.

There are plenty of reasonable explanations for this, sure.

That said, I wouldn’t at all be surprised if it was fully just an industry planted phenomenon.

I was exploring level 4 when i found this mew section..

There's an old vending machine here but it doesn't use normal money. I can hear a weird low hum coming from behind that black counter. Has anyone seen this section of Level 4 before? I don’t think I’m alone....
