Like so many others who have asked similar questions about reach, I post art content on instagram. (Posts and reels) After about a year, the most viewed reel I have is sitting at 1,659 views.

The average reel I post usually receives only 100-200 views, and most of my content usually gets about 4-8 likes, most of those likes being from my followers who mostly consist of accounts that followed me back after I followed them.

I use hashtags, but they don’t seem to have an effect. I’m not sure if it’s just a lack of skill in my art driving away views, a lack of attention grabbing content, or some other reason, but I’m genuinely confused.
