English speaking dermatologist

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for an English-speaking dermatologist in Nagoya as soon as possible.

I'm currently in Japan on a temporary stay (tourist visa) and I'm experiencing a significant skin flare-up that may require specialist assessment and treatment. I have international health insurance, but no specific Japanese health insurance.

Could anyone recommend:

An English-speaking dermatologist in Nagoya?

A clinic or hospital that is used to treating foreign patients?

The best healthcare pathway in Japan for this kind of situation (walk-in clinic, dermatologist directly, hospital referral, etc.)?

I'm mainly looking for a proper diagnosis and treatment rather than cosmetic dermatology.

Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much!

Thrift stores

Hi everyone,

I'm currently living in Nagoya for a few months and I'm trying to find the kind of second-hand clothing stores where locals go to get genuinely good deals.

I'm not really looking for curated vintage shops, hype brands, tourist-oriented thrift stores, or places selling "vintage" T-shirts for ¥8,000+. I'm more interested in hidden gems, recycle shops, warehouse-style stores, and places where you can spend time digging through racks and occasionally find amazing bargains.

What are the best thrift stores, recycle shops, Book Offs, Treasure Factories, or lesser-known spots in and around Nagoya if the goal is simply to maximize value for money?

Thanks!
