Having already purchased what I wanted from the Amazon prime sale and knowing I didn’t want anything from this drop, I dangerously perused the Reloved section. I scored this mini Ruby bag charm and now my Ruby trio is complete 😊.
Featured with my black Ruby 25 and Ruby 18 in the color Hay.
My perfect bag: leather lined, logo free (Irarely leave hangtags on when in use), rich solid colors, feet, adjustable straps, deceivingly spacious. I carry essentials only.
The top left black bag is the vintage Swing Zip 9051. I usually prefer vintage, but I feel the re-edition has various improvements like the adjustable straps and protective feet. The vintage strap drop is much lower than I'd like. I could have a cobbler make additional holes, but I opt to keep vintage as original as possible.
These are all full size except for the Crystal 20, which I couldn't pass on.

All my Amazon prime sale items arrived in one day, but I was working and didn’t have time to break out this bag until last night. She was super dry but perfectly packaged. I threw her in the dryer three times on low heat (ten minutes only in a cotton dustbag) and conditioned with Leather CPR in between, working it in and squishing the heck out of it lol. I dislike the feeling of new bags.
Here she is now, a little broken in and ready to become a puddle of leather 😁.

I went down the rabbit hole with these bags. I was able to confirm they are called the Ergo Zip (not to be confused with the late 90s Ergo Zip/Pocket Zip/Mini Zip), not Ergo Hobo bags. Then, depending on the style whether solid color, different piping color, striped, suede, two toned, on and on, the change in style number made it hard to compare which sizes were which within those styles. I dug through multiple listings reviewing different dimensions from resellers. I could only confirm the tan ones are called Retro Ergo Zip and the solids Ergo Zip. I did a deep dive as I prefer the medium/regular size.
I also somehow ended up with a highly sought “XL” bag that is actually a Large. All I’ve researched claims the 9223 is an XL, however according to old online screenshots of Coach websites, it’s a Large. My “XL”, in reality Large, is style 9228, as it’s the Retro Zip, dimensions directly comparable to the 9223. Confused yet? Yea, me too lol. I feel crazed discussing my research, but I’ve seen online many confused when buying this specific style.
Man, what I could accomplish if I set my obsessive investigative ways onto true life changing skills lol. Alas, here we are. If you read all this, I’m so very sorry.
Cliffnotes: Coach is not very creative in coming up with new names for bags. Here is my collection. These bags have very smooth zippers, feel super soft, slouch so beautifully they drape, puddle like butter, and are the most comfortable bags I’ve ever owned. A+++

I love pink. I love olive. I love yellow. This bag had my heart from the second I knew it existed. Although not the biggest fan of crinkle leather, it cohesively adds dimension.
Over the last few months, I’ve fallen in love with the vintage Ergo Hobo bags. When researching the HTF Ergo Hobo 9223, I learned it’s a Large bag, not an XL. Was it considered an XL later on and I can’t find proof?
I’ve included screenshots I obtained via the wayback machine of both the regular Ergo Zip and Ergo Retro Zip (also to note, “Hobo” is not anywhere in the name). The 9223 is the same size as the 9228; they’re both large. When searching for a 9223, all resell listings describe it as an XL, but that’s inaccurate?
I’m so confused and very curious if someone has the answer.
After dragging the heck out of this color in the Empire 21 (the pebbling did it no favors and I love pebbling), I fell for it in the Chelsea 30. I did see the muted olive Empire again irl a few days ago, still didn’t like it lol.

Price aside, I love these charms. They have a nice weight to them and feel incredibly sturdy. Took advantage of the morning sunlight.

This is not my full Ergo collection, but the yellow 9029 is departing soon and I wanted to document some eye candy. At some point, as I continue to downsize, I’ll save up to add a Kiwi Ergo. If I ever find a Glacier bag as a steal, I’ll add that one too, but it’ll be more to satisfy the collector in me. I prefer neutral/warm tones.

My Moss Cary is missing its hangtag, so if someone can lead me in the right direction, I’d appreciate it. I’m also still ISO an Amazon Green Cary Crossbody. I find the larger Cary’s from time to time, but it’s not for me.
Organizing my bags and decided these deserved some attention today. They’re all 9248s, except for the red and brown which are F10910. The mini is a 9247.
I have been wanting a purple vintage Ergo Hobo Zip bag. This is style 9221, the medium size. It has its hangtag, no odor, and the inside is in excellent condition. Now time to clean and condition so I can carry this asap ☺️.
I don’t often see retail Coach bags in the public where I live. I happened to see two in the past two days and was surprised by my initial reaction. One confirmed why I sold it (style was too large for me) and another, I was surprised by how much I liked it (Chain tabby). I’m not a fan of the large C despite owning a few Tabbys, but in reality it’s not the garish distraction I feel it is on me as it was on someone else. I’m such a boring plain Jane lol.
I was doing a reverse google search on a skull beaded charm and came across these on the Singapore Coach site. I know different countries get exclusives we never see, but I’m drooling over these 🤞😍.
I was able to obtain this with the help of a Nordstrom SA. I love it 😍!
I was very disappointed the Dino motif charm on the Brooklyn 28 never dropped (at least that I’m aware of). Although I was content in getting a small item or two from this collection, the chain was the one thing I truly hoped for.
Then, I saw this beauty, adored the color scheme, balked at the price, noticed all the accessories were removable, and instantly checked out. It’s even more stunning irl. The color block, Rexy charms, hangtags with a wooden die, I’m in love 💕.
