Global Banking and Markets - Asset Financing Strats role
Hey everyone!
I just got a call regarding my "introductory" round for the role mentioned above GBM - Asset Financing Strats. Sounds exactly like a sell-side quant role i want to transition into from a buy-side quant at a Tier-2 MFT based in Gurgaon.
Little about me :
- Top 7 IITs with majors in EE and a decent CG.
- Quant researcher with profitable strats in US, Brazil markets.
- Looking for a switch coz the work and the senior management is trash. Not to mention, risk vs reward is the worst.
- Current role doesnt align with future plans of MBA abroad. GS, JP would be feeders to them.
Questions :
- Please educate me with what this division does. Or any leads would be helpful.
- Any tips of how to perform in the interview (coz this is my 2nd interview of my career since the quant was the first interview-first offer)
- Is "introductory" round really just introduction or are they going to grill me?
- Puzzles from brainstellar and puzzledquant should be sufficient or am i missing out on something?
Need your guidance asap since they scheduled the interview for tmrw itself, so im short of time to prepare to my fullest ability.
Thanks in advance!
