'I was at my peak!' - Fermin Lopez recovering from 'the worst summer' of his life as Barcelona star admits he 'needed help' dealing with missing Spain's World Cup success

"It's been the worst summer of my life. I was at my peak, everything was going well, and then the injury happened," Fermin admitted. "You learn from these situations, but it's true that I've had a really tough summer. I've gotten through it thanks to my family, my partner, and my friends. I needed help. I already had it before, but my coach has helped me a lot to get through it.

"I didn't watch the first few matches of the Spanish national team in the World Cup. I couldn't. I wanted to be there at the World Cup. Let me make it clear that it made me very happy to see my teammates win the World Cup. Towards the end of the World Cup, I felt a bit better and decided to go see the final live in New York."

Ferran Torres on World Cup-winning goal: ‘It was the best moment in my life’

“I can feel that the people recognize me more often,” he told CNN.

“I feel inside the same person, but it’s kind of not, and I feel it. It made me very proud because every kid when he’s young (dreams) about this moment – it was special.

"What's a movie that felt amazing the first time, but felt completely overrated on a rewatch?"

Don't get me wrong , Avatar Is a technologically revolutionary film no doubt . I was amazed when i watched for the first time inside a theatre but When i rewatched it , i felt That it was slightly carried by the Tech.

Man ok we lost 3 in a Row and each time it was different Departments that let us down ( Battin vs Gt , bowling vs rr and Now Fielding vs Srh)

But we as fans should keep faith in this brilliant team and trust them to turn it around/ The Season ain't over yet and We can still win This.

Every single game , Every one That we have Won this season . A major part of it is our Opening Partnership . Almost all The games that we won Our Openers got atleast 50 runs among themselves ( only exception being first match of ssn) Plus that RR game as well we got 60 plus but The Bowlers Lost it for us. Anyway It feels Like If our Openers Don't give us that Strong Headstart , our Batting Order Collapses and Maybe 1 person like Cooper today gets us somewhere respectable . This can't happen , Other players have to step up.

This is my Humble Opinion , don't blast me please.

Btw Since Shashank is now on the fraud list , do u think Vinod/ Pannu / Pyla Should be given a chance , we either way don't use him much for Bowling

A year ago , there Were rumors of Vanderson joining Barca. But it wasn't concrete and no move was truly made . Plus Kounde was in great form so there was no need to replace him.

But now , Things have changed . With Barca Reportedly Getting 80 million offer for Kounde , could Vanderson be the replacement? He would cost no more than 20-30 million.

Now , im not going to lie and say " I watched Vanderson Closely and He Is a baller" . I've only watched a Handful of games and here is what i noted:

Pros:

Good Defensively , he is fine at 1v1 and is Physical as well , he looked comfortable on the ball for the most part.

Cons :

Lacks that something in Attack , He ain't going to give u the Cancelo kind of crosses . Most of his crosses looked off ngl. Also he Can be overly aggressive Leading to unnecessary yellow( though this rarely happens)

Me personally , Im Neutral here . This could go both ways.

Now , i've Said my piece . What do u think? Should we sign him or not? ( as replacement to Kounde , incase he leaves)

This is if we r Batting 1st (Yuzi comes in as Impact sub for Priyansh ), if we r Bowling 1st then Priyash Come's in Impact for Yuzi.

9th one:
Bartlett is Trusted By ponting so i think he will get more chances , Did well in his 3rd over with only 4 runs conceded. otherwise was quite poor.

Lockie Is Experienced and If he gets in Form we can demolish Strong Batsmen but it's too early to tell how he will play. A positive is that he is quite good at slowing the rr down., At least better than Bartlett.( at slowing the game)

My fav , Dwarshius He can Bowl decently and Is a class lower order Finisher , who is good at Finishing games off at Death. He can get u those extra 15-20 runs(On his day maybe 30) in an over or 2 at Death which can solidify ur Position.

Chahal can be replaced by Brar

Anyway , what do u think?
