I just bought the remake, but have never played the original. I want to build a two handed mage character, and spend the level up points on all utility skills as well like hunting and pick pocketing.

Are there enough skill points in the game to do this? Do I need to skip one handed training. I’ve done some research and it seems like you can skip one handed by >!joining the new camp and just leveling strength until you get to level 10!<

Do I need to skip one handed training to complete a two handed mage build?
Also what is the difference between different schools of magic? There is apparently water and fire magic but I don’t know the difference.
