Who thinks that based on today’s match of France vs Paraguay, that Morocco may have a chance to win against France in the upcoming FIFA quarterfinal?

Seriously similar. What were the Nike designers inspired by in creating the FIFA 2026 World Cup jersey for the USA National team?
Hi,
Has anyone purchased Moody Lenses “Breathe+” silicone hydrogel contacts?
I had to stop wearing HEMA/ regular hydrogel colored contacts over the years due to extreme dryness and not enough oxygen to the eye/hypoxia risk.
I see Moody is making the “silicone hydrogel” Breathe+ line of colored contacts. The Breathe+ lenses are claimed to be way more comfortable and to provide 7x more oxygen to eyes. Has anyone tried the Breathe+ line? Are there any other color contacts brand being made of newer silicone hydrogel?
With all the anti-hijab propaganda and glares I’ve received in my life, I didn’t really know that hair covering is required for Jewish women in their Torah. I’m sharing this from IG as the subject came up how a lot of the anti-hijab is related to anti-Islam hate. I personally have not seen such rhetoric directed towards Jewish, nor Christian women or Nuns that cover. Especially in America where we are told we have “freedom of religion and freedom of choice.” I can’t come up with anything other than it is anti-Islam. As any feminist who wants to say being pro-woman is being anti-hijab is really being anti-choice and anti-Islam imo. My body, my hair, and my freedom to choose as a hijabi just as it is for those who cover their hair in other religions.
Hi, I’m asking this question in the context that as hijabis we’re visually identified as Muslim. However Muslim men in a business environment with suits and ties in the West aren’t always visually identified as being Muslim.
With it do any of you find it hypocritical to observe some Muslim men who won’t shake a hijabis hand? However they’ll shake the hand of a non-hijabi non-Muslim woman. I used to wonder did Muslim men think I’m najas/dirty? Like I’d spoil their wudu? But surely any non-Muslim woman would be same?
Is it because they don’t want to offend the Western non-Muslim women? If so, why offend the hijabi woman by selectively hand shaking in a business environment? As westerners don’t know and may feel they are more important than a hijabi when seeing that. (Also keep in mind, many hijabi doctors and nurses as part of the job need to touch a male patient.)
At least equally extend a hand to a hijabi woman and let her be the one to decline it if thats the case. Either shake no one’s hands or extend a shake to all. As in a group, it appears rude or anti-hijabi to shake others and walk past a hijabi. As if we don’t already get enough hate and disrespect. Has anyone else experienced or observed this? I’m not wanting to assume and would like insight from other hijabis; especially those that work in the West, regarding this please.
Is it because a non-Muslim woman might be offended? If so, why wouldn’t the Hijabi not be offended if in the company of all when he then shakes a non-Muslim woman’s hand?
