Transferring Chase or C1 points to American Airlines For Japan Flights?? Or other work arounds

I currently have Chase, C1 and American Airlines Miles. I am trying to book flights for the wife and I to visit Japan in April and have enough AA miles to book one seat, but not the other. I have more than enough Chase and C1 points to purchase the other seat. Is there any way to transfer C1 or Chase points to AA? Is there any way to transfer AA points to a one world alliance program and combine them with the other points I have? Should I just do separate bookings for the two seats?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Opinions on booking through “Get Your Guide”

I just booked a circuit two guide through Get Your Guide. I purchased it because it had thousands of reviews and had a 4.7 star rating, seemingly a trustworthy guide company. But im now having second thoughts and wondering if I should buy tickets as a back up.

Any information is appreciated.

Best way to spend 3 weeks in South America

My wife and I are looking to travel to South America for 21 days from Miami in October and am wondering if anyone has a way that they’ve done this sort of trip and loved.

We would like to visit Lima, Machu Picchu, go to Puerto Maldonado, Buenos Aires, Santiago (I have family there but this is the least important leg of the trip as I can go at any time) and Rio De Janiero.

However we are open to any and all suggestions as long as they include Machu Picchu.

I appreciate all of the advice and experiences you can share. Thanks!
