Do people have regular issues with ultranet and syncing xr18 with the Midas dn4816-o as a digital snake?

2 of every 5 time I plug it in, several channels have white noise on them

The company I work for doesn’t match a single nickel of my contribution. I’m 55 and have $270K in the 401K - late start, solo bread winner for my family of 4. Roth has $16K.

I’m maxing out this year 401K and Roth. I put some in HYSA and a bit in an investment account. The house has 18 years left at a sub 5% rate and is our only debt.

Kids have 529s from grandparents for school. Is there anything else I should be doing? My spouse hasn’t worked in 22 years and feels like she can’t go back to her profession (school teacher) as it’s been too long.

EDIT for clarity: my wife is looking to work - the above statement is just to point out that she is not likely going back to what she was college educated (classroom music teacher) to do. She will likely teach private music lessons, be a church choir director and/or will be looking for a light/clerical job.
