TD-3 Pattern Covers

Picked up a TD-3 off of eBay as my first foray into electronic music after wanting to for years and years.

Really enjoying getting used to it following some guides online, and getting some fun sounds out of it.

But to further my understanding of what settings make what sounds is there a resource of notes and settings for well known tunes to set and play with to see how it was done.

I’ve found a few on YouTube, but would love to keep trying more and more.

Next will be a drum machine of some sorts to pair with it.

Behringer seems to be working on updated USB Audio Interfaces

The website update is a clusterfuck, but on the bright side, they accidentally leaked design documents for their new "UXC" interfaces, which replace each of their current UMC interfaces. This is under the "Downloads" of the UMC22 page as of now, although they'll probably remove it once they see it.

Changes:
- "UXC" replaces "UMC" in the name
- no more "HD" in the name, so either no more 192khz or it doesn't mean anything

- some red coloring, seemingly to match a certain popular budget interface company

- reorganized buttons

- USB-C instead of USB-B.

There's three revisions of the design uploaded online, so they're still actively figuring out the final appearance:

This could explain some of the shortages for interfaces, since they might be saving resources on making the new ones. I know that I'll be waiting for the UXC1820 now instead of the UMC1820.

Hard Techno DJs, how tf do you keep your library organized on Rekordbox?

Yo, so I mostly mix hard and industrial techno (usually pushing 145-155 BPM). I’ve been trying to keep my crates clean on my Mac, but managing the sheer volume of tracks in Rekordbox is getting super messy. Do y'all sort by exact BPM, energy level, or just vibe? Need some workflow tips fr because right now it’s lowkey a nightmare when I'm trying to build a set. tips appreciate !!!

Why are the Behringer Moog clones missing from GuitarCenter.com?

I know there used to be drama between Behringer and GC but I thought that was all over. Anyone know why these pedals are not offered?

The pedals I mean are

BM-11M Low Pass Filter
BM-12 Ring Modulator
BM-13 Phaser
BM-14M Analog Delay
BM-15M Murf Box
BM-17 Frequency Box
BM-18M Cluster Box

Reuse of a Behringer DSP1024P Virtualizer

On my shelf I had a Behringer DSP1024P Virtualizer Pro gathering dust. I never really understood how to use the thing properly, and most of the time it ended up as filler in my effects rack, mainly to make the rack look more impressive. In practice, it was just too bothersome to use.

Because I am going to redo my studio, I noticed something I had never really paid attention to before: the MIDI ports. So I got the slightly crazy idea: what if I could control this thing over MIDI from Bitwig, as if it were a VST plugin?

Of course, it is not necessarily very useful. There are many effect plugins available that are better and easier to use than this old device. But just for fun, I tried it anyway.

And to my surprise, it works. I created a VST plugin to control the device, and I can even connect it inside Bitwig to other effects or keyboard controls.

I have to say: I am having a lot of fun with this ancient machine now.

the plugin

what IS actually happening to behringer/midas/music tribe's website(s)?

can't find anything conclusive, any official statement, anything. yeah yeah "lol it's music tribe what would you expect", but let's leave that at the door- it seems something more serious has happened

their website(s) is basically just an incomplete shell, the biggest glaring problem is there is no way to officially access firmware, editors, drivers, docs or resources of any kind. their support chatbot is trying it's best; it will either tell you to download a driver from the website (which it doesn't have) or it will give you an old broken hyperlink

the theory i've read most often is that they were hacked/had some sort of major security issue, so the sites/databases were completely wiped (by music tribe or the hackers, idk) and the "shell" of websites we have now was put together in a hurry to have something while it is being fixed. although drivers/resources have been inaccessible through the official site for a while now so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

if the new site was intentional, it'd probably allow you to navigate to the page of one of it's major products like, say, the f'n X32- which the current behringer website does not allow you to navigate there from the website itself. you can only get to the X32's product page from a google search

even weirder, as a user mentioned in a thread earlier today, is if you click products at the top and search "X32" in the menu top left, a product page for "X32 MKII" will pop up, clicking it shows text "X32N" and nothing else

there was another fake/impersonation website making it's rounds during when all this started that apparently flags as malware- maybe this is why many people thought music tribe got hacked but it actually hasn't; so it could just be a really, really botched website re-vamp

Behringer X32-Edit software no longer available for download?

I was asked to do sound with a Behringer X32 and I want to install the X32-Edit software to make life a bit easier, but appearantly I picked the wrong time to do so because the downloads page has disappeared from the behringer webiste, and their support page is just an AI chatbot telling me to navigate to the non-existent downloads page. Any help getting my hands on the latest Windows version of this software would be greatly appreciatet.

1010 Bento - disco house.

Here's a mellow disco number. With the Bento as the brain and the JT4000M to add a little extra. I used an NI midi controller to play the notes.

Is Behringer getting out of USB audio interfaces / sound cards?

What is going on with Behringer’s U-PHORIA interfaces?

I have been trying to find official Behringer Windows ASIO drivers for the U-PHORIA series, including the UMC404HD and UMC1820, and it feels like they have vanished from the Behringer/Music Tribe website.

Now I am also noticing that it is hard to find the actual Behringer sound cards listed clearly on their own website. Are they phasing these products out? Are they discontinuing the UMC1820? Or is this just another Music Tribe website/support mess?

This is frustrating because a lot of people use these interfaces for more than bedroom recording. In broadcast, live sound, radio automation, remotes, podcast setups, and install work, the driver availability matters. These are not just toys. If the official drivers are removed or hidden, that makes it really hard to keep recommending the product line.

Has anyone heard anything official?

Are the U-PHORIA interfaces being discontinued, or is Behringer just making the support/download side impossible to navigate?

Monitoring a soloed stereo bus in stereo

Hi guys! I’m using a Behringer X32 Compact for tv broadcasting and I’m encountering a major issue: I need to monitor the stereo bus 9-10 during the show since that is my program (the sound the embedder takes and delivers to the tv channel).
Now, when I solo the stereo linked busses 9-10 I hear a mono mix and the M/C meter on the right of the display of the console shows a mono signal that sometimes appears to be clipping (due to the summing of L and R channel I believe: the embedder receives a non-clipped audio from my bus!). How can I monitor (either with headphones or monitor speakers) the stereo linked busses 9-10 in stereo when soloed? (“Mono” setting for monitoring in mono only is disabled oc)

The main stereo out of the mixer receives only a few of my inputs and is being sent to another tv channel, so I can’t just use the main stereo out for monitoring in place of bus 9-10

Please send help🥲

Behringer X32 Rack PSU

Had the PSU in my x32 rack decide it did not want to continue functioning, see image. As the component has failed in a fairly explosive way I am having trouble identifying the part I should purchase for replacement. Alongside this I will probably need to add some bodge wires. If anyone can let me know what I need to purchase to replace this I would be grateful.

Behringer SynthTribe app for mac -- Apple Silicon or Universal macOS version?

Does anyone know if Behringer has any intention to ever release an updated version of the synth tribe app for macOS? Either Universal or Apple Silicon?

They still only have an Intel version, but Apple is completely dropping support for all Intel apps soon, and they will not be usable on the next OS.

The next mac OS 27 will be released in less than six months around October 2026 and Behringer still only has an Intel version of SynthTribe.
