Japandi Kitchen in San Mateo

We’ve just finished a Japandi-style kitchen in San Mateo. This was one of those projects where knowing when to stop mattered. We went with natural wood cabinetry and pale sage uppers to break things up a bit. We also carried the same natural stone across the countertops and backsplash.

We kept the rest pretty simple since there’s already a lot going on with the wood and stone.

Would you add anything, or leave it as is?

We’ve finished this Japandi-style kitchen in Dallas. We chose oak fronts and paired them with off-white uppers to break it up a bit. Most of the appliances are integrated. The palette is very simple, just wood and a light stone countertop.

It already feels nice, but I’m wondering if it needs a little something. Would love ideas for finishing touches that still keep it minimal.
