Favorite cool down series out of peak pose Dancer?

New-ish yoga teacher here, I still have major imposter syndrome! Anyways, planning for a studio demo and my peak pose is dancer. I’ll be doing a lot of quad stretching and shoulder opening, and my last arc in class is high crescent > one legged Tadasana > dancer > warrior 3 > shiva squat > warrior 3.

I was thinking on the second side, of taking the shiva squat down to cow face pose, but open to other ideas and how I can full cool down my students.

Can you please help me decorate this breakfast nook? Think New England farmhouse with a touch of Anthropologie. I’d like there to be a runner rug between the counterbar and table (we can’t lift the table to put a rug under it), and 2 chairs alongside the long end of the table. Not sure how we will find trapezoidal bench cushions either…. And, this is a rental home, so we cannot change any of the finishes.

Thank you!!

This is the first of what may be a few posts. We’re moving soon into a 100-year-old rental and at the point of overwhelm + design fatigue. I’d really love some fresh eyes and inspiration from this group, starting with the foyer/living room space when you first walk into the house.

I’m drawn to a cozy, layered style - think Nancy Meyers meets coastal cottage… maybe even a bit of transitional mixed in. Warm, lived-in, classic, but still light and functional.

We’re coming from an apartment and getting rid of a lot of our current furniture, so it feels like we’re starting from scratch (which is exciting… but also a lot). I’m especially struggling with layout and how to make the space feel cohesive without overdoing it.

The owners previously had a rectangular dining room table whereas well as a round entryway table, but open to other layout options. We don’t need this to be a tv space (couch and coffee table) as that will be the room adjacent to this. Any renderings are welcome!
