Hi all,

I am currently looking for any assistance on how to improve my backyard grass. I have sir Walter grass and am based in Central Queensland Australia. It is currently winter where I am but the temperature is 25-30 degrees each day.

Below is currently what I am doing to improve my grass but I am unsure if it’s the best thing to improve my grass:
Watering every second for 20 minutes before moving the sprinkler to a different spot.
Mowing once a week.

I have done a bit of research and am looking at potentially doing the below to improve my grass but wanted to check to make sure that it’s the best thing to do:
Purchasing dog rocks as I know there are numerous urine burns in the garden.
Purchasing organic based top dress lawn soil and applying an even layer over the yard.

Please let me know anything on how to improve my grass!
