Indian MBBS → PG/residency in Germany. Looking for people actually doing it! 🇩🇪

Hey everyone!

I’m an Indian MBBS graduate and I’m seriously considering Germany for residency, but I’m finding it really hard to get **first-hand information from Indians who have actually gone through the process**.

So if you’re an Indian doctor who is **currently doing residency/working as an Assistenzarzt in Germany after MBBS from India**, I’d really love to hear from you!

A few things I’m particularly curious about:

* How long did the whole process take from graduating in India to getting your first job? * How difficult was the German language/FSP/KP/Approbation process actually? * How difficult was it to get your first Assistenzarzt position? * Which state/Bundesland are you in? * What are the working hours and work-life balance actually like? * How is the salary after taxes?

*Is the degree recognized world wide? * Would you still choose Germany if you had to make the decision again? * And most importantly — **what do you wish someone had told you before you started?**

I’m not looking for generic “Germany is good/bad” advice. I’d really like to hear from someone who has **actually made the move and is currently doing it.**

If that's you, **please comment or DM me!** Even if you just have 10–15 minutes to chat, it would genuinely help me a lot.

Thanks! 🙏
