2. They make pre-orders live around that same time

3. Hundreds of millions tune into watch trailer 3. Internet goes crazy

4. People analyze trailer 3 and become shocked at the difference from trailer 2

5. Busy pre-order sales crash servers making some unable to preorder

6. Some start complaining that they are unable to preorder

7. Some start posting screenshots of their pre-order purchase

8. Collector’s edition will get sold out online and in most stores almost immediately

9. Some post about the absurd scalper prices for collector’s edition

Every single living soul at Rockstar knows damn well that tomorrow, May 26th, was supposed to be the date that GTA 6 dropped. There’s no way they’ll be like “fuck it, drop another GTAO or RDR2 post”. Tomorrow would’ve been a momentous day in gaming history. No way they let it fly by like it’s nothing.

They keep saying marketing starts this summer, but those words are deliberately chosen to be simultaneously vague and hinting at no trailer this month. Why? Cause they want us to lose the hopium and as soon as most don’t expect it on the 26th, they’ll drop it. It’s working too cause the hopium levels in the GTA 6 subreddits have been at their lowest currently this month.

I’ll also repeat some good points others have made:

1. They need to launch a trailer with the updated release date, so tomorrow makes the most sense because the latest trailer still says the game comes out tomorrow.
2. Xbox has been a bit more active in referencing GTA 6 recently, so maybe that means something idk.

I think we’ll get *some* update. If not a trailer then maybe new pictures or something.
