Freezing/breaking freeze in top

Hiya everybody !

I love top lane but my performance is dramatically hindered by my ability to control the wave!

I was brought up on only last hitting and have only just cone to understand that a slow push like this is very easy to freeze. I would then find myself in a mad fashion to try and break the freeze by attempting to force the minions into the turret only to then grow impatient and push the bouncing wave again, leaving me perpetually stuck at their tower (i am still working on adopting this approach 😅)

I understand the best way to break a freeze is to prevent one all together! Should the waves find themselves in my favour, do I immediately push to force a reset?

Is it fair to say that to freeze a wave you need to contest the enemy to prevent them from hard pushing? I normally play Poppy (and accidentally push with Q when trading...) and Kled but should I learn to control the wave, I am considering filling out my roster with a scaling Nasus. How do Nasus players approach freezing the wave early when they struggle to contest?

Thanks !

Freezing the wave

hey guys, new here

i just came to understand why my waves always end up pushed into my tower; i don't thin them out!

what's your approach to thinning out the wave to keep it nice and frozen just outside of your turret? any particular items, runes or skill ups in your strategy?

lemme know!

thanks!

General Consensus on NIN?

hiya Vana'diel!

This isn't your regularly scheduled post from u/agfita but I was excited for the day we would discuss Ninja! I hope they don't mind!

It's hard to talk about Ninja without mentioning how it dominated the 75 era's tanking and sub job choices! As the game matured, Shadow Tanking has fallen out of favour; what identity has Ninja now cobbled together and is it still helplessly married to /Warrior? What does it do well and what constructs the narrative that it is undesirable? How has its kit developed and do you know how to squeeze out every little bit of value?

Do /tell!
