Idle problem, Transalp XL700VA, 2008
Hi All
Im having problems with my 2008 Transalp XL700VA
It will idle unevenly, and stop in crossings sometimes.
The engine dying, is obviously a bit of a danger, as it can lock the rear wheel.
I did have cracked vacuum hoses between the carbs. These have been replaced.
I have opened the rotating part of the IACV, and cleaned this with spray carburettor cleaner.
I have not taken the IACV housing off.
No DTC or MIL blinking
The manual states
Engine stalls, hard to start,Rough idling :
Check the idle speed.
Check the IACV.
Inspect the fuel supply system
Does anyone have any good ideas please?
