Monroe Doctrine Mexico 🔥🔥🔥

R5: As Mexico in GFM, I annexed, sphered or puppeted almost every country in the Americas. Monroe would proud.

GFM might make Mexico a bit OP to be honest, a lot of the decisions are just 'Trade infamy for a bunch of cores'

How to restore the Mexican Empire in GFM?

Playing as Mexico in the GFM mod. It's about 1870 and I've never had the option to restore the Mexican monarchy show up in the decisions tab. I have a conservative government and I've tried using cheats to raise militancy to fulfil the requirements in the base game, but it won't seem to show up at all.

What are the preconditions for this decision to appear? Does the French empire need to exist? Did I pass too many political reforms? Or otherwise, is there an event which can restore the monarchy to bypass this?

Playing with a normal career and default lifespans is kinda depressing tbh

Finally managed to get the game up and running on my new laptop with some of the new patches. I usually like to make money with skills like painting and writing and set lifespans to long, but I decided to do a pretty standard game with a rabbithole job and normal lifespan lengths as a test run. Thought it would be a neat idea to rebuild Juan Darer's ruined house in Twinbrook.

The experience ended up being more bittersweet than I expected.

I made a new sim and moved her in with Juan, who got her pregnant and then immediately died of old age.

It took literally right up until her elder life stage to afford to build the new house and fill it with furniture. All her time was taken up working, taking care of the baby or building skills for promotions. Most of her paychecks were eaten up by babysitter payments until the child was old enough to be left alone. She has lived most of her life in a barn, dreaming of the house she'd build to honour her lover's memory.

At the end of all this, my sim is an old woman who hasn't even reached the highest career rank, she has no friends or hobbies to speak of, barely has a relationship with her son, has only a few hundred simoleons to her name, and in a couple weeks will probably be dead.

But hey, at least the house got rebuilt.

What's the ideal army composition in the Cold War Enhancement mod?

I know that in the base game or HPM, the optimal army stack is 1 Hussar/4 infantry or guard/5 artillery.

Is there an equivalent to this in CWE/NWO? I haven't been able to find a consensus in other people posts about the subject.
