Lighthearted Loves

I’m currently feeling very overwhelmed in life so I’m looking for stories that are lighthearted with very little to no angst.

I want kick my feet happy romances that maybe are quirky and feel too perfect to the point of unrealistic. And if you can throw in some lingerie, oral fixation, and/or c*ck warming that’ll help me feel giddy too.

And because this community has yet to fail me here is an oddly specific request. One MC loves to hang out completely naked whenever they’re home and the other MC loves it (leaning more towards the sexual side vs. nudist vibes if that makes sense).

I have no hard nos for this request - D/s, ABDL, male lactation, romantasy, paranormal etc. is all fine. Go crazy just keep it LIGHTHEARTED.

Has anyone else been reading the Snow Creek Ranch series?

Can we discuss {The Banker and the Blue Collar Man by Jackie North}

Because I’m only on page 61 and I might have to label the book DNF cuz of the inconsistencies. Is it worth it to try and ignore them?

Future Gay Boyfriend by Kate Hawthorne and E.M. Denning

I wanted to see if anyone else agrees with me or has thoughts that can make the story better for me.

I wanted to like this book as much as the first one but I almost DNF. Instead I quickly clicked through pages to get to the end as fast as I could. And the ending was exactly what I thought it was - unimpressed HEA brushing off the conflict.

Darian had a hard life and I truly believe he deserves to be selfish. But being selfish doesn’t mean he should toss all consideration and empathy for others out the window. Especially someone he says he loves. That attitude is encouraged by Kristen. Who I disliked in the first book and I didn’t enjoy her becoming a bigger role in this one. In my opinion she doesn’t have any redeeming qualities.

Not once did Darian think to ask Ryan about his thoughts or concerns. What he wanted in his life. He just expected Ryan to make a huge life decision cuz Darian said he should. Um what?! Who makes huge life decisions without talking it over with your partner. I also get they were technically pretty new in their relationship but still to just throw out “I’m moving to NYC” and then expect your boyfriend to be okay with the blind surprise and drop their whole life to come with you seems crazy to me.

They also kept saying Ryan had nothing left for him in California since his best friend and brother were married to each other but again um what?! They’re still family and to treat their importance in his life so blasé is weird. Same with him not being in love with his job. Like yes does that mean he could be open to the opportunity moving would give him, sure. But to assume that 100% is crazy to me, it was his family’s business and he’d been working that job for years. Instead Darian and Kristen make Ryan out to be a villain because he doesn’t automatically quit his job and just follow Darian to NYC with no plan.

This is technically an age gap romance (I think 8 years) so maybe that’s why Darian’s thought process was the way it was too. Maybe it would have all sat better with me if they shown a light on the different places they were each at and how to bridge the gap to make both of their lives better. Maybe they were trying for love conquers all type story but as someone who has moved twice with my husband for my career (causing him to disrupt his career and I’ve been so thankful to him for it) how this was handled was just not it for me.

Manly MMC who wears skirts

I’ve read many books with a MMC that wears skirts, lingerie etc. but he/they are usually more femme. I’m looking for what is considered your “manly man” who wears skirts.

Something more along the lines of {Davo by N.R. Walker}
