I think that my fish is dying

For starters, he is a Jack Dempsey cichlid that’s about 8 years old. Recently me and my bf had noticed that he was getting white spots. Figured out that he had ich. Went to the pet store and got ich attack since they didn’t carry ich x for freshwater fish. We noticed in improvement in the beginning but over the weekend we noticed that after 4 days of treatment and following the instructions on the bottle, our baby has been declining recently. Now it’s exploded all over him and he won’t eat and has been hiding and lying on his side ( which I have never noticed ). Treatment said that it could take up to a month but we’re not noticing a change. Any advice pls? I really don’t wanna lose my baby :((

Feeling like I don’t have friends

Hi, I’m currently a lvl 3 nursing student and recently I just felt like I haven’t made any friends or connections since I started. I’m always helping others and trying to be positive but social isolation is one of my biggest fears especially being in nursing school. How do I combat or feel better about being friendless?
